Sounds like you have gotten buried quite a few times.
Well now is the time to get back into gambling as my WNBA Total Game of the Year goes tonight. Ive never lost this bet since the inception of the WNBA.
You need to comeback at least for one night man.

I did this with alcohol.
Sat there and wondered what the hell was wrong in my life. Why do I feel down all the time and cranky the next morning. Why was my pockets feeling light? Why were my pants no longer fitting.
Now I wasn't some alcoholic who would stash liquor at work or carry a flask. I was just a Joe 6 pack. Id pick up a 12 pack of Heineken and go thru about 8 of em in one night. Then get more the next day and again the next. Stopped for months, wouldn't go near the stuff.
I felt better within a week! A cloud was just gone and I felt so much better.
I want to be normal. So at a wedding Ill have a drink. On our anniversary when we go dine at our favorite steakhouse, well order a bottle of red. On fantasy draft night for the Blunderdome league, when theres a keg present, ill have a few. But daily drinking is something in the past.
As far as gambling goes, I applies a similar concept. I refuse to become an action junkie ever again. I will use my knowledge of the game along with the metrics I use to make a play and go on that, I can live with passing on a play and it hitting and me not playing. Every game has a winner or loser. That's okay.
You will probably be back to gambling at some point. You still are visiting a gambling website. When you do, come back with some discipline. Read some books.

I feel you man. I actually enjoy the offseason after the super bowl. After the Super Bowl I usually take a break from all gambling during the offseason. Never liked baseball, so it's easy to not bet on it.
I've taken a look at my life, and realized that I ended the season dead broke again for like the 8th time in 9 years. I have plans and goals in life, and I will never get there if I'm still gambling.
I decided that this would be the year that I officially quit. I'm on a two year plan, and can get where I want to be if I don't have a relapse. In order to help accomplish this, I am even quitting playing fantasy football which I really like and I'm pretty good at. Need to get away from any temptation and try to find another hobby on Sundays.
I think I'll probably catch the local team for some fanfare, but since gambling causes you to have no favorite teams and no rooting interest unless you have money on the game, I'll try and avoid other games.
Good luck to us both. The next step in my cleansing will be to quit smoking cigarettes, but one step at a time. You quit too many things at once, you'll give in from the burden.
