KNOCKED A DUDE OUT TONIGHT!!

went out with 5 friends to club.... left some dude was in my face i wouldn't let him go i hit him 3x and he dropped..... i got cops called on me and they let me leave somehow.... he was so out he just said i was a friend and it wasnt a big deal, should i have gotten in trouble or was i safe for protection my female friends
