Seems like a high price to pay for little experience. Denver is built on D, they need a game manager. Money rules all. Should have taken a pay cut for a chance to win again. just my opinion.

Choco- He has 0 touch on his ball. If he were a pitcher he would be the guy that comes in and throws 99-100MPH, that's it. You know what he's got so he won't fool you.
He cant throw a pass inside 15 yards with accuracy, he can't throw the deep ball. He's got a TE over the middle that's about it.
I'm a Niners fan so I've seen every game and not having any touch to dump off really hurts his game. That's why his rush yards are so high, he can't dump a pass off so he's forced to run.
He will do well in Denver if he can move the chains and they can establish a strong run game. That will give Kap the flexibility to hold the ball and take off.

Harbaugh was able to make it work, Elway should be able to as well.
Maybe he should go back to his college days and run the pistol offense. Not sure how well that works in the NFL or how often he should run it, but I would believe he could have success with it.

Would be interesting to have an offense that allowed kaep to play multiple positions. Unlike other qbs he has the size and atheleticism to create match up problems. Imagine the opposite of the wildcat and having two qbs. A traditional
One and kaep. You don't know who is going to throw the ball. Maybe they just hand off to kaep. It's an interesting package

Last summer Warner went to work with Kap and develop his pocket skills..
Well I didnt hear a peep about how it went and even though he is retired down here Warner is still a hot commodity in the press.
Me thinks Kap either blew off Warner or something didnt go right because last season was horrible for him as we all know.
Some players just are not willing to do what it takes to develop what they lack and perform the position how it needs in order to be successful.
Maybe Kap thinks he is good enough as he is and does not see that he lacks pocket confidence and accuracy. If that is the case he has zero chance at success even with a great defense supporting his lazy skill set.

if you are Kaep you have to believe Kelly gives you a better chance for a career resurgence than Kubiak. And everyone is talking about the Denver D and running game being able to prop a QB, but they have lost starting linemen and a ton on the DEF side of the ball. Those LBs they lost alone is going to make for a major potential shift. Still a good/solid top D, but not what it was this year by any stretch.
