In honor of J. Robinson day I'm mad that blacks and whites were segregated

Not because it was unfair or anything but because now I have to endure this barrier breaking special day crap several days and even a whole month every year

Here's a statement that might blow your mind:

Really sorry if this busts your politically correct bubble...blacks were better off under segregation. Sounds crazy, but is it? Aside from the occasional lynching in the south when they went after white women, were blacks better off socially and economically during segregation?

The family unit was much stronger (single motherhood was much much less common), they weren't enslaved by welfare and entitlements, unemployment was lower, drug use/incarceration/crime was lower, successful black businesses were supported by black consumers,and on and on.

Before I read all the name calling and character attacks, at least attempt to disprove what was said in the previous paragraph.

I posted this in the MLB forum first and a poster who says he&#x27;s black agrees with me.  I think it&#x27;s on page 2 now under the same thread title.The reason I bring it up is because the media portrays blacks as being in hell during segregation but if you take an objective look at it it&#x27;s just another false narrative in the agenda

I think segregation was a symptom or example of how black peoples were viewed and treated during that time.

What I think is Inhenrently flawed about the whole thing is the history part of all of this. This is a problem with baseball that clings to the yesteryears and the beloved history.

If baseball really cares about race they would look to spend time, money, resource and attention to helping black people and players now.

Or say they learned from the past and will not repeat it and be more accepting of the group that faces the most hurdles which is non-English speaking players from other countries and not African Americans

Like get the white players and coaches and fans I guess who have the pole stuck up their assses to lighten up when a player from another country flips and bat or shows some emotion.

Rather then having a pathetic man baby temper tantrum crapping their pants and making it an issue of "our game".

Had to turn it from MLB network when they brought in that jackass Bob Costass to discuss with Preston Wilson what J Robinson would have thought about how the black MLB player percentage has dwindled however the good news is there is still a sizeable non white percentage including Asians and Hispanics of color. They make it sound like being a white baseball player is a disease that needs to be eradicated. Meanwhile the vast majority of the NBA is non white and comes nowhere close to reflecting the population and blacks just overall aren't that interested in baseball. Big stinking deal. No one is forcing anyone to play or not play anything today and it's been that way for a long time, so shut your trap and try not to be annoying a holes.
