ice storm for northern and western maine

Question

perfect conditions for pqi today sub zero -8 no real warm up

and tomorrow rain but the ground level will remain below freezing.

good time for those north of route 2 or west of 95 to stock up today cause no power below zero temps and terrible conditions through Wednesday is not so fun.

for all the flats good time to head south to all the natives hunker down good day to get a little gas for the generator.

You take this nature stuff serious, eh?

nature1970 · Answer

been here too long took

nearly three weeks to get power in bridgton one year...

came up with a battery an invertor and charged it off the car to make a hot plate and a microwave work,

the kerosene heater needed electricity as well to fire as the gas stove.

but we make do . the flats all complaining around the lake ... as we were ice fishing for salmon.

good times. lolol
