I dont "get" star wars

fN hate it. The princess was ok not super hot or anything, robots...wow!

Watched the first movie in the theater itself..never watched another..Pretty much the same with Star Trek after the original TV show.

I'm not a fan either.

You have to be old enough to realize how far ahead of its time it was.  They invented probably a dozen special effects for the movie which had never been done before.

It's been Disneyfied and it will never be the same,so if you don't get the earlier episodes...don't bother with this drege.

ok than watch the porn version of star wars you might enjoy scfi more.

^^^  This.  The original was quite special at the time.

I don't get it either.  It's all about Jedi's fighting with swords.  And yet you have all these huge military air craft and space ships shooting lasers and missiles.  One of those missiles or lasers would kill a Jedi.  It's kind of like a movie about a war between the US and China but the focus is one of our seals vs one of China's special forces guy.  A missile or bomb or Nuke is more important than 2 guys fighting.

Yeh i saw the original balc seat 4 of us on acid, that oart i get, but the whole franchise is so overblown

LOVE them all

Opinions vary.........but I wonder how many people that "hate" Star Wars were even alive much less old enough to see & comprehend the original when it came out in 1977.
