Honeymoon destinations??

Getting married November 8th trying to figure out where to go.

We have thought about
Caribbean Cruise
Hawaii
Atlantis in Bahamas
Punta Cana (No specifics)

Anyone have ideas?

You need to find out what your fiance/wife wants without her knowing, then suggest it to her like it was your idea first.    

You'd be going right at the start of the "rainy season" in Hawaii

If you addicted to gambling and your wife is not, you many not go where there is gambling (Bahamas and Cruises).  Only mentioning this because it is Covers

Don't waste your time at Atlantis or the Bahamas for that matter..

If you want to have a great time, hit the real Carribean.  Turks and Caicos, Jamaica, etc.

I just came back from Dominic Republic.  It is very nice but you better know Spanish to really enjoy yourself and stay on the resort.  Other than that, the weather was outstanding and the staff at the resort are great

She is not worried about the gambling stuff. She doesnt care if I go now and then. Just wanna go somewhere nice probably an all inclusive type of place.

Hawaii probably out anyway

Old San Juan, Puerto Rico

I've been to a lot of places and I liked Old San Juan the most. I can get you the info of the place I stayed at if you're interested.

Royal Carribean 7 day western carib cruise with a balcony room is pretty easy to take about 1800 per person wirh a couple g's to gamble and you'll be sitting pretty or St, Martin if you want to just kick back naked on the beach.

IF YOU GO TO THE ATLANTIS YOU GOTTA STAY AT THE COVE AND GET YOURSELF A CABANA FOR A DAY. THE CABANA RUNS AROUND 700 FOR THE DAY BUT IT'S WELL WORTH IT. THE CABANA HAS FLAT SCREEN  TV / SHOWER / BATHROOM AND BUTLER SERVICE. THE CABANA SITS BETWEEN THE POOL AND THE OCEAN . LAST TIME WE GOT ONE WE WHERE RIGHT NEXT TO KC FROM KC AND THE SUNSHINE BAND.

   THE CABANA SHOULD BE CHEAPER BECAUSE WE USUALLY GO DOWN THERE FOR NEW YEARS AND GET THE CABANA SO WE CAN CHECK IN AND WATCH THE BOWLS GAMES AND KEEP THE FAMILY HAPPY TOO.

IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO CRUISE GO TO NCL.COM AND THEY GIVE YOU A LIST OF SOME VERY NICE CRUISES. THAT TIME OF YEAR YOU'RE LOOKING AT A CARIBBEAN CRUISE I  RECOMMEND DURING THE SUMMER TOGO ON A WESTERN MEDITERRANEAN CRUISE AND IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT DO THE CRUISE TWICE. THEIR WAY TO MUCH TO SEE FOR A ONE WEEK CRUISE.

We have been on a cruise and is awesome. We will go again but thats bad timing to be gone that long right then we are looking 4 or 5 days not 7 or 8.

Don't go to Atlantis if you want peace and quiet. Do go if you like to be around herds of fat sunburned tourists, massive high rise overpriced hotel rooms, drinks, food....

The cabanas are nice though if you can stay in one the entire time.

We did the whole Europe thing for our honeymoon it was fun, but go somewhere more of an adventure. I don't know the Caribbean and the likes all seem to cliche for me. Go on an adventure that can't be done once or if you have kids. I don't know what you two are into whether it be the outdoors type stuff climb Mt. Kilimanjaro or swim with the great whites in South Africa or an excursion to Alaska. I think if I had one place to go before I died it would be to Alaska.If you want to just drink and party I'm sure there is some sort of festival going on in the Southern Hemisphere to take a look at. Always wanted to go to Carnival for some reason. Or go to an adults only playground somewhere that could be fun maybe a little too much for a honeymoon, but fun none the less.

Aslong as Searchwarrent hasn't gone down there with his posse yet. Go kill a few rhinos I'm not a hunter, but I would imagine that would be considered big game. The best part about that is you can sell their horns to the Chinese to pay for your whole trip at least.

We are pretty laid back people and I have a golf tournament 1st week of december in Puerta Vallarta and she is going so we are looking for something nice but short and laid back. Probably something like San Juan or St Maartin but not sold yet

I did france and italy for my honeymoon... 

great trip...

my favorite stop was cinuqe terre... 

was great to travel, but in the end we did alot of site seeing and tried to get alot in from rome, to florence, to venice, to paris and places in between....

in retrospect, I wished we slowed the whole thing down and relaxed more...

I enjoyed our greece vacation better as we did better balancing sightseeing with leisure...  

weather/temperature seems like it would be an issue during those months... 

Perhaps you should consider australia/newzealand as the weather will be better...  its safe, not a 3rd world country and can be both a fun trip and allow you to make it a vacation...

I stayed at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan. Great hotel. I was there for New Years and on New Years Eve they had a big party. Every broad was smoking and the quality of the cars pulling up stood out. Old San Juan is a five minute taxi ride, you'll feel safe (unlike Dominican Republic), walk around, get something to eat and have a few drinks.
