Builder in Spain came across the stash in old Nesquik cans as he was renovating an old abandoned house he had bought
Problem is it was old Spanish peseta notes which were replaced by the Euro in 2002 so he wasn't able to cash in the full amount as the deadline for converting all the old notes had passed a couple of years ago although he did get over £30K from some of the newer notes that were accepted
You might think that it was drug money or from a robbery or something but it turns out the house previously belonged to an old timer who used to hide his money not just in the walls but in farm machinery which he then sold without realising he had hid money in
