earth quakes rocking Fair View Oklahoma

not sure what is happening in Oklahoma but literally hundreds of earth quakes between 2.5 and 4.4 have happened here in the last few days, about 13km to 5km down.

but the depth is too deep 5 km is about 3 miles down.
maybe though
because there is no known fault no active volcanoe.
if it was Hawaii and this data was seen
they be preparing the big island for an eruption.
but literally not a peep of this phenomena.
silence scares me when it comes to this kind of data.

The people in OK & TX are taking one for the team ( the country at whole).  We can thank the fracking industry for the low oil prices.

I'd wager my last cent that fracking has nothing to do with shaking the ground in Oklahoma. The core of earth is a lot deeper than an drill bit.

I don't know if I would take it to that extent...  The frequency of the rocking & rolling w/ the advent of 'fracking should not be ignored.

Just an observation.

 

BTW, I invest in oil/gas, but this is just an observation......

So, the difference between earthquakes before fracking in Oklahoma and Texas and after is, what, a coincidence? Global warming? Powerball numbers?

I understand fracking is most likely to blame but why not the same type of results in Lewiston N.D.?

Not a geologist, but I'm guess the soil formation of adjoining states may be more similar than Lewiston, N.D.
