I saw on two books that they are offering E-Sports. I may be dumb, but is this betting on people playing a video game?!?

Yeah I think so

Believe it or not you can play fantasy sports on e sports...Fake play on people who are fake playing something

Or maybe "playing fantasy on fantasy players" would be more accurate. The more I think about it the more ridiculous the whole thing sounds

Reminds me of the scene from "The big short" where they explain derivative funds as betting on a spectator who is betting on a guy playing blackjack.

Such a joke they call this a sport more like E-Gaming. Didn't realize pushing buttons on a keyboard and clicking a mouse is such a physical exertion.
