Anybody have the new Droid phone from Verizon? I just got mine last weekend. Anyone know if there's any good mobile betting sites? I tried posting on Covers, but it wouldn't let me.

verizon blows... how can you not get on covers?.... verizon locks down their phones so hardcore... i have a sprint hero thing works great.. although the os is a little difficult to personalize

he is saying he can get on but he can't post. Most phones won't let you post because there is something about the covers website that won't allow posts for a mobile phone

I can get on to 5dimes and log in and even bet, but can't see all the games. I can't scroll down to see more games. Odd.
But, overall, thing is fucking awesome. Friends with the I-phone who have played around with it say they wish they had one. Love how it has a keyboard in addition to pure touch screen

I was able to login...but no luck posting.
Tone-When you're on the texting screen...just touch and hold screen itself where the recent messages are. A menu option will appear and give you the option to forward.

I can bet with Carib and Heritage on the Droid. No dice with Matchbook, the lines will not come up.
Many people hate on Verizon, but I have had them in Illinois for six years and have never even needed customer service. I salute them for giving their existing customers the Droid rebate instantly and free overnight shipping when it came out. Some companies would bend over their existing customers on the rollout to troll for new accounts. I do wish I could voice dial through my car's bluetooth, though.

It's not that Covers doesn't allow it, from looking at the page code,
they use an iframe for the text box where you write your posts and is
the likely culprit of why mobile phones can't post. The mobile
browser doesn't understand or is not able to process the iframe and
ignores it. Hence, you can't write and post something.
Why they did that for the message field, I have no idea, but hey, let's
overcomplicate the message box so modern mobile browsers don't work
correctly on our site.
