Have 3 Prius's for my business.
One of them has 280,000 miles on it and is still going.
No bells and whistles, and the interior is pretty basic, but if you are looking at it from strictly a financial decision, then it's a great car.
The body of them does not hold up particularly well, but with regular maintenance you get way more than your moneys worth.

Owned a Honda hybrid. All was good
Then the audio system started to hum
Cost 400 to replace the part. Salesmen was telling the main battery bank was 5 g to replace and had a 10 year life.
I traded for a firebird never thought of hybrid since.
