Dallas police shooting

Question

11 shot 5 dead so far I&#x27;m black for the record. I have a deep disdain for police, mainly because of an experience I went thru here in Oakland where I was beaten and called a ni gger all for nothing. But at the end of the day my eye healed up and I got my tooth replaced that went thru my bottom lip and my lip stitches healed up. Call me what you want but I think all police are bad. The reason I say that, is because there is never any police speaking out on the clear injustice going on with the police killing black men. You can have two white policemen, 1 "good" and 1 "bad". The bad cop shoots a 12 yr old black kid for example, and the good cop knows he was wrong. But he doesn&#x27;t speak out on the bad cop because of the police code they have amongst them. So therefore, the good cop is just as bad as the bad cop. Until the good cops start speaking out in volumes on the bad cops then my view is ALL, yes ALL police are bad. Nonetheless RIP to the dallas cops. Crazy world we&#x27;re living in

Their was one suspect; he&#x27;s dead, courtesy of a robot bomb, and the DPD. the other three had no involvement, and have been released...  case closed...

I&#x27;ve said it before, cops are equal opportunity a$$holes. It takes a certain personality to even want to do that day in and day out.  You couple that attitude with a badge and a gun and I&#x27;m surprised there&#x27;s not even more protests. Hell, I&#x27;m a pasty white idiot that grew up in the suburbs and even I&#x27;ve got a couple of police harassment stories!!One last thing, what happened to the program where every cop was going to wear a Go-Pro? It seemed like a big deal a couple of years ago, and they even rolled it out in a few major cities, but you don&#x27;t hear anything about it anymore.......Wonder why?

It&#x27;s horrible that these cops and their families have to suffer because of scumbag cops around our nation.RIP to the fallen.  To the OP, I&#x27;ve had horrible experiences with cops myself.  I&#x27;m not saying that you are, but I&#x27;m not going to hate all of them because of the 1-5% of them that are over-zealous with their guns and badge.  Just a horrible day for everyone all around.

Sad stuff man. It really is sad that 5 innocent police officers had to die in order for us to really start talking about these issues in America. I don&#x27;t want anybody to die I don&#x27;t wish death on anyone. I just wish good cops would speak out on the bad ones in large volumes. They would gain a lot more respect from the minority community. Cops shouldn&#x27;t defend the bad apples just as I don&#x27;t defend dumb idiot violent black people who kill other blacks. But that&#x27;s another issue in itself. When you are dealing with trained government officials who are supposed to have the proper training to deal with situations as simple as the young man In minny, you are held to a higher standard than a low life street thug. Period. That shooter is a nut job but sad to say I see where he was coming from. Was it right? No!! Fuk no! Will some positivity come out of it? I think so. Anyone looking to hear a voice of reason from former law enforcement should check out Michael Wood Jr. He is a former marine and Baltimore city cop. He went on Joe Rogan&#x27;s podcast last year, and then again about a month ago. I don&#x27;t agree with everything he says, but he is intelligent and provides unique perspective.

One myth is that mass shooters only target gun free zones. In Dallas, the shooter targets police despite being well armed. Actually, mass shooters prefer locations where they are able to shoot many targets. So shootings are rare in security areas of airports where gun control is enforced.
