The term "Circled" has been used in sports gambling forever. It simply means that particular game is not currently available to wager. (In older days before internet my bookies used to put a wagering limit of $50 on a circled game). A game or contest can be circled for different reasons but usually, not always, the reason has to do with a player injury on a team. As the game situation develops and becomes clearer you will often see the circle removed closer to the actual game time and wagering resumed. Hope that helps.
