That is all
Canada sucks
Yes,we try to impress everyone we r nice. New immigrants come and abuse our kindness. Then they join organizations and oppose new big projects. Too much infighting stalls the system. AND CHINA ???? TEAMS UP AND MANUFACTURERS AND SELLS PRODUCTS TO US.
Amazing ?? unbelievable ??

@Rush51 "healthcare for immigrants"
In both US and Canada, illegal immigrants do not qualify for public healthcare plans. Only citizens and permanent residents qualify. Citizens are far more likely to use healthcare services. Long term illegal immigrants pay more in taxes than they receive in public benefits.

@thirdperson Have you ever heard of the ER ? nobody can be denied treatment... No one.

Are you implying they go to ER for regular health issues?
No need to imply it. It is pretty established fact. It is also a concern in a lot of areas because of the over-crowding and strain on emergency resources.
For example, one of the studies showed that close to 1/4 of the ER visits by adults were non-urgent reasons. Then another study showed Illegals used ER for infections, gastro things, OB/GYN, or minor injuries to account for nearly 3/4 of their visits to the ER.
So, yes: millions of ER visits are for conditions that aren't ultimately considered emergencies.
We did a little research on this some time back to point out that this is a serious concern. It is not the main reason for overcrowding, but it is a contributing factor.
The illegals use it at a far lesser percentage than (seems like it was around half the percentage) citizens do for non-urgent issues. So, again, this is not the main factor but is a factor.
The last I saw was $4B or so on illegal's ER usage.
So, yes, a lot of folks use the ER in lieu of going to a regular doctor. It is a concern for sure.

Well what do you want people to do that are sick and in extreme pain and or discomfort ? If I didn’t have a primary care provider, and was unsure of the severity of my illness the ER seems like a place to go especially if I don’t have money in my pocket or a credit ability! Oh and it’s not only immigrants! What do you want people to do that are poor and can turn people away from less expensive walk in medicals if you don’t pay up front , and the ER can't? Also you 15 million who were removed from the government subsidiary of ACA most of who have not found an affordable replacement?….Who do think they will vote for in November? I guess we all will find out ?
