Why not just buy on a marketplace, why try to do a P2P exchange?

I have only bought them a few times. First couple I just used coinbase and had to wait about a week until the coins were in my account. The last time I used a site called local coins or something like that. Just had to go to a local bank and make a cash deposit. Then take a picture of the deposit slip and the funds were in my account in about 10 mins.
