Jerry Brown is possibly the most idiotic man on planet earth. Nothing he does makes a shred of sense. This bill being perhaps the most embarrassing of all. What he's actually doing is turning law abiding californians into felons. You wouldn't believe how many people are building/selling lower receivers on the AR platform that can be swapped out.

The true criminals will not be affected in any way other than having to pay more for semi auto on the streets.

I wouldn't pay more than 50 bucks for a 10 round max capacity AR with a bullet button anyway. Those that are buying them pre ban are just doing so because they think it will cool to have and increase in value. Wrong - they cannot be sold in California. If you want to loan a firearm to a friend for the day, you must document the transfer at an FFA dealer beforehand.

If you don't, it's a felony.

Jerry Brown. world's most fascinating moron.
