Best way to maximize freeplay money?

I always tend to try to hit parlays with freeplays with mixed results.  Can you tell me the best way to maximize a freeplay?  I have about $400 to play with...

Keep accurate records of your plays. Parlays are the quickest roads to drain an account

Define maximize.  Smaller bets will give you more bets and "maximize" you free play...  To me the idea of house money is flawed... It's all money and the same applies for your free play money...

Only advice  would be to play all your free play money first before you put down a cent of your own money

Agree for the most part but there is a difference between house money and scared money
