Aruba

Heading back to Aruba in October.  Been numerous times but always looking for different restaurants to try.  Also, could be a little different this year, bringing the 1.5 year old.  Staying at Marriott's Aruba Surf Club. (1st time).  Any insight??

Curious about that island. Which beach is the most pristine and away from the tourists? Been to most of the islands but not Aruba. 

...Also I'd like to avoid island trash locals like the ones in St Thomas, Nassau and most of the other islands.

You will love it. Stayed at holiday inn that is within waking distance of where you'll stay. They even have a sportsbook via kiosk that is pretty cool. They charged a small fee on your winners though. Great weather, sand like salt. Don't drive just taxi everywhere would be my advice. Really nice Argentinean steakhouse that was on the main drag out there. Forgot the name though. A tapas bar was right next to it. What id give for a cold balashi right now. That is their beer.  It's everywhere. Pretty crappy but you'll miss it when you leave believe me. Some cave park I went to was pretty cool. Look that up.  This was a halfass review but you get the gist.

Oh forgot. Don't get freaked out when you see all the red Sox caps. Xander bogaerts is Aruban and you see alot of 10 jerseys there.
