My wife has AFLAC through her work. She was able to add me to her policy as an accident rider. She used it in Feb. when she was in a car accident. Pain in the ass. Everything got lost, blah blah blah. Every excuse was made. I have now tore my acl, mcl, and miniscus (sp?) in my right leg. This is covered by AFLAC. Sent the info in 2 weeks ago and found out no one has received the info yet. Has anyone ever used AFLAC? What were your experiences with them?

I just had an orientation at my job the other day for Aflac. The sales guy swore we'd have no problems at all with claims......I didn't sign up, but many did...keep us posted..

I actually own a Aflac business and you should have no problem at all getting any claims . Aflac will ALWAYS pay what you are covered for . Sounds like you have a terrible Aflac agent to me .
The only times people do not get claims paid is either :
1. Your aflac agent sucks and does not service you correctly or
2. They didn't explain your policy to you correctly and you thought you were covered for something your not .
If you really do have an accident policy you can make this claim for your situation and you should have a check in your hands within 5-7 business days no later.
Sounds to me like your Aflac agent must have made up a bunch of excuses because they didn't file the claim for your wife properly before or something and they were trying to make up excuses to cover their own butt .
All you need to do to file the claim is go to Aflac.com and click on claim forms and sign in and go to the state map of wherever your located . Then click on accident claim form fill it out section A with your info , have your doctor fill out section B and fax it over to the Aflac claims department . Its that simple. I would take your Aflac agent out of the loop as it sounds like him/her does not like servicing his clients . Just deal directly with the corporate office.

My wife signed up for Aflac at work just before she got pregnant with our second son. Sent us a check within 30 days of our son being born. We cancelled the policy after that, but it was well worth it to carry it for the short time we did. Cost us about $600 bucks in premiums and they sent us a check for 6 grand, no questions asked.
Sounds like you have a shitty agent.

Thanks for your responses. The agent called my wife back today and said he re-faxed the info. They have been great in the end, just wierd how OUR info is always getting lost. I think you have it right, shitty agent. Thanks again brothers.
