Amazons Alexa randomly laughing at users.

Apparently the device thinks it is being commanded to laugh and goes off unprovoked. Anyone own one of these things? I wouldnt have one in my home, I can see them being hacked and turned into an eavesdropping device.

Those things are wierd and so are the people that own them.

I remember my grandfather sayimg most Americans were fools and eventually would buy devices that would allow the government to record all their in home conversations ....

I have one.

Have it shoot out some recipe ideas.

If you dont mind being listened in on by hackers then own an "Alexa".

I recommend the hour long video by Frank Abignail who was played
by Leonard DiCapprio in the movie, "Catch Me If You Can"

Is Siri a better alternative?

Was thinking about Alexa or Siri for my handicapped son.

They both sound like cheap hookers to me. Coin flip?
