Trump can and will hopefully call for a complete cease fire under the assumption that his relationship with Putin is what we hope for. Civilians are being slaughtered. Rebels fault? Imo yes. They need to stop throwing rocks at at tanks.
Allow Assad to establish control and take him out on another day.

The only motivation for Putin in Syria far as I know is billions in arms debt owed by the Assad regime. There are zero natural resources in Syria that interest any country.
Russians can be excluded from Nato and placed under embargo eventually United States cannot engage Russia but we can drive them into economic disaster I believe.

Hopefully the end of that war begins. By the Time Trump takes office everyone is on board to destroying isis. We meddled in Syrian civil war long enough. Our objective should be to exterminate dash not fund AL qaidi to fight assad.

you guys are both right. Isis really is priority. As Van says, those poor people. agree.
All of it is reaching up to eventual wwII suffering for innocent civilians. 
Nature, the Saudis refused to cooperate in the fight against terrorism and the cut was a good play. Accurate objective news is hard to find.

It's not about natural resources in Syria. It's about running natural resources through Syria, in the form of natural gas. A pipeline going to Europe from Qatar would cut into Russia's market share and diminish their influence.
