So if you went to burger king and the person charged you 5000 dollars for a hamburger instead of 5 dollars you wouldnt care? You must be the only person in the country that thinks it doesnt matter if something is 5 dollars or 5000 dollars. Let me tell you a little secret their is a big difference between betting 5 dollars on a game and 5000 dollars on a game, just like there is a difference in paying 5 dollars for a cheeseburger and 5000 dollars for a cheeseburger.

To all the haters and non belivers... what can I say, we all have our doubts about what others post in these forums, like how much and all that. I'm sure most of you remeber the guy who said he hit a $500 ten team parlay for $217,000... most did not belived him until he showed us and Lou confirmed it. Just because most people here are $50-$100 bettors... does not mean some people don't/can't/won't fire $1000's.
Those who know me, know I don't ever come out and give out my plays in an open forum... let alone tell everyone i'm emptying out every account I have on a single play.
Was it smart to put all my eggs in one basket, not really, but the money was from a recent pick four I hit with the horses. Every now and then we all take a big shot... tonight was mine... and I was right... the line was too low thanks to the no hitter and all the hype.

i dont mind betting it when its fake but if i was betting real money i would be with some of the others who wouldnt touch this
Playoffs is the time when you do fire away and take a chance because every play and umpire call is magnified a million time more than in the regular season so there isn't any monkey business. In the regular season things go unnoticed but not in the playoffs.
My book had this at 5.5 and I took the over but for 1/3 of this posters bet. There are people on this site who have the ability and bankroll to make large bets.

I can honestly say that I would have never bet the over in this game ... then again, I wouldn't have bet the under 5.5 either. None of that matters, you picked your spot and nailed it.
