The books get the lines from a couple of services out of Vegas and then they marry the lines together.
BetCris and the Greek are the main two. Pinnacle and the rest just rip off their lines.
Classic example yesterday in a WNBA 2nd half proved this. The Greek went up first with 82 and Pinnacel followed with the same number. The number was WRONG. 10 seconds later BetCris were up with 89 and both books quickly joined Cris.

Kenny White is owner and operator of the LAS VEGAS SPORTS CONSULTANTS. His company consists of half a dozen or so odds makers that meet every day in an office and make lines. The lines are usually made between 12 00 AND 3 00 PM EST.

Kenny White is NOT the owner/operator of LVSC....they were purchased last year by Cantor Gaming, a division of Cantor Fitzgerald Investment, and the company that is running the book at The M Hotel and the in-game betting at the Venetian on the Strip. Kenny White is a senior exec at LVSC; but reports to Cantor Gaming.

Anyone can answer this...
Does this go for foreign sports as well like International Soccer, cricket, aussie rules football and Intl basketball, or is there another entity that sets those lines who has a greater knowledge of the sport?

I would strongly assume (I do not have first-hand knowledge) that international sportslines come from England and British-based offshores. They have had legal bookies long before we had Vegas
Vegas, typically, does not set or offer lines on sports that they do not show to the bettors....cricket, for example.
