Sportsbook Withdrawal

I cashed out $2,500 from sportsbook.ag three months ago and finally received a check. The check is from Habib Canadian Bank in Mississauga, Ontario via Habib American Bank in New York. I'm unsure if I should deposit it or not.

Has anyone else ever received a check from this bank and cashed it?

I do bank wire withdrawls from them, very fast.  It's too late now, but I would avoid checks in the future. They take a while(in some cases) may be rejected by your bank, and could possibly bounce if they have to close certain accounts or reroute money.

You are lucky, they paid me well for a little while years back, then sent a check from Cambodia that looked like a 9 year old made it on microsoft paint. I took it to my bank, they looked like I had 3 heads and told me they wouldn't accept it. Sportsbook still owes me North of 10k, but I can't collect it. I would deposit it, they will likely put it on a hold of between 7 and 45 days to verify funds. Worse case is they tell you they won't take it. GL
