bitcoin question

I have never used it or created an account. I've read that most people create a Circle account and transfer to Blockchain. My understanding is that Circle only allows $300 max per week when you start out, and can eventually get higher limits. Anyone know how one would deposit a good amount more than that to bitcoins in the first week or two of creating an account (maybe using another company?)
