bitcoin and coinbase

First time ever withdrawing using bitcoin..... once the sportsbook sends me the funds to my coinbase account, how can I get that money out of my coinbase account to my bank? Do I have to transfer it to another wallet such as airbitz? I want to make sure I do it correctly and I've been reading up on it constantly, but alot of people here know much more than I do about BC...

Safest way IMO is to have your book send you the money to a intermediery account like one on Blockchain, then send that money to your Coinbase account.

found this out the hard way after coinbase shut down my account then a book i use helped explain how to avoid them catching on

How does block chain work? I went to this site and it didn't have my create a user id or anything? Can either one of you guys explain how it works? How do I know what address to give the sportsbook to send it to?

Go to blockchain and set up a wallet by clicking on "wallet / start a new wallet"

This may be a silly question, but why is the middle step of Blockchain needed, and do you need to do the same for deposits?

Heritage was the book. Took roughly 9 or 10 hours I think to reach Block chain then maybe 30 minutes to go from Block chain to Coinbase then a business day to reach my bank.

How does a reloadable like B I t p a y figure in?  Is it the same deal just instead of going to your bank it gets reloaded on the card?  What does the card eliminate......the bank,   blockchain,  or the e-wallet (circle or coinbase)???
