Time to trade for AD?

In one of my leagues, I have attempted to trade for AD with a guy who has a few monster players but absolutely no depth.  I offered him Gore and Garcon for AD, but he denied.  I didn't think that it was a fair trade anyways, so I understood.  Do you guys think that would be a good risk to take now, not knowing what's going to happen with him?  My team is pretty deep, imo.  Here is what it looks like:

AD = Andy Dalton

With Foster and Lacy you're fine

Stand pat

AD = Adrian Peterson

Keep your team intact.  Other than you being a big OU fan, and Peterson's status being up in the air -- why take the risk unless you can completely lowball the guy.  But Peterson's name value alone will get him some value and you likely won't be the only owner trying to take advantage of the situation

Yeah, I came into this thread having to read closely to see who you meant by AD. It sounded like Adrian Peterson but I wasn't sure.

For the record, Peterson is typically referred to as "AP" or "ADP". Who the heck is AD?

A guy like Garcon you need anyways. Lacy and Foster are solid RB1 and RB2. You'll be able to flex Spiller or Gore on a week to week basis, but I didn't draft gore because I see him consistently pulling 8 points a game unless he gets a TD. Not enough receptions in my PPR league to start him.

Never heard anyone call him ADP. And any true college football fan knows that he goes by AD. Been his nickname all his life. Annoys the hell out of me when people refer to him as AP.

Peterson reinstated, now just a matter of whether NFL will do anything
