Fantasy sports ripoff your money

Talk about "betting" on something you can't win at is Fantasy sports. A friend of mine has been playing fantasy for three years on Fan Duel.

It's all fixed

You just have to be smart enough to ignore fantasy experts and only go by Vegas lines and player props.

Its not fixed....but in the long haul(just like Poker at any Casino where the "house" takes out 10-20%)....the "house" will have all the $$$$, to keep going they need to recruit so many new players every year, something that isn't gonna happen!!! So, a guys gotta get lucky, win big and get out(I won $1,500 in a $1 game TODAY...if I had played this lineup in a $7 game I played with many more players, I'd be winning $200,000 with no players left and 2 games that other players have players left)!

UPDATE: That $1,500 "winning" lineup would have ended up in 4th place and winning $25,000 if I had played it in another game I played.......ALSO, you can imagine how many "computer nerds" are entering lineups their computers spit out for them, SOOOOO, if your like me and just picking lineups as you look at it...odds are probably not good....just want to get BIG LUCKY ONCE!!!

Outside of a few multipliers, the only game I'll touch on a regular basis is 50-50. If you cant do better then 50% of the participants  in that game,better give up.

It's only rigged in regard to the vig, which is 20% at most of the sites. It's virtually impossible to beat the vig.....so I will not argue with your point. I don't play it, but I do gamble at sports at a slightly better deal (5% or 10%)........but still throwing money away regardless.

You got to look at fantasy betting strictly as an entertainment expense... No way ever can you beat the vig.

You should of least got $500 back. I laugh when my friend says he won $100. I say how much did you pay and he said $200 but hes happy he won $100.

The only way to win is 50/50 or putting multiple of the same team in cheap tournaments.  Knowledge is also a dangerous thing, I don't follow the NBA at all and do good.  Just look at sites like rotowire for injuries and read props.  You have to be good with numbers.

I play some Draft Kings and mostly just the 50/50 games. I feel like I should be able to beat half of the field.

Something I like better than Draft Kings and Fan Duel is Draft.com     It is daily fantasy but, you do a snake draft against other players daily. Example:  in baseball you would draft 1 pitcher, 2 infielders, & 2 outfielders. You can enter 3, 4, 6 man drafts and then let the games play out. I do a lot of head to head drafts for $20 where you just have to beat one dude. Can't wait for football to start. I feel that one of my strengths in fantasy football is drafting and draft.com gives me an opportunity to let my strength shine!!!

The only downside to draft.com is that when you enter a draft, you have to wait for it to fill up before you can start. So, it is better to wait until closer to game time to enter drafts. If you try to enter a draft say 10 hours before game time, it may take a while for the other spots to fill up so you can start the draft. So, I just wait until it is about an hour before game time and enter drafts. It is fun for me!
