sorry i didnt get back to you, i was busy with house duties.. 

i am not giving you vmart/uribe for buck/morneau/theriot, i told you buck was available and better stats, i could'v grabbed him myself if i wanted to deal vmart...    anyway,  im looking at your team now to try and find possibilities, i want morneau but im not gonna overpay cause jose guillen has identical #'s as him minus the AVG, same HR/RBI's/R's but guillen is .260 while justin is .340

  NO OFFERS FROM ANYONE ABOUT JIMENEZ !  you guys are funny..  halladay goes up for trade talk and people wet themselves over him but no proposals for jimenez yet and he's identical if not better....

powerade:         it was a 1 game start vs a astros team that i thought he could handle,his line wasnt that bad to keep rippin' me on it, he K'd 6 and in 5 innings n he had 3 earned with 5 hits, 3 BB's..   you dont say a word to kyle though when he grabbed paulino and got raped by his 15.43 era and 3.00 whip in 4 innings though...       

I was joking about the deal with Buck. I just said that because you mentioned about picking him up and that's exactly what I did.

But you have to think about Jose Guillen has only 2 homers in his last 23 games after starting off on a tear while hitting 5 homers in 4 games in April. Numbers can be deceiving.

And...for what it's worth...only 4 others actually look at this thread. I just traded Verlander basically as a throw in to get hitters, so that shows how important top notch starting pitching is to me. Powerade doesn't look at starting pitching so he wouldn't be interesting. And ManRam traded Halladay so it doesn't seem as if he wants it. That's the problem. Everyone has an account on here...but nobody checks the thread and sometimes not even recent moves.

I like my setup of 2nd tier pitchers though.

Niese, Scherzer, Morrow, Silva, Ely, Wilson, Zito and Hammel have had pretty decent seasons (or outings since coming off the DL).

I'm about to spark a comeback.

aside from morneau i would talk about ordonez, and the CHEN move was a 1 game move that i wanted to try cause his L2 outings were good except for the 7th innings last start where he got into trouble, other then that he had an 8-1 lead and pitched well in both outings (i watched them) so if i wanna try a move then so be it, i dont need to hear comments 3 and 4 times..  everybody has had bad moves or pick-ups and TRADES..   

i tried similiar moves with MARCUM, LEAKE, TALBOT,  and SILVA (yes i had him b4 u) and they payed off, this one gave me 6 K's but hurt my whip/era a tad, oh well..

i sent an email to the whole league regarding jimenez, i know you, me, manram, powerade and uriss are the only 1's in here but i was just shcked no offers but its fine, i'll keep him.. he's 12-1 with a 1.16 era/80+ K's and a whip under .99    no sweat for me to keep him..   

I thank you a LOT for getting rid of Silva. He's been HUGE for me.

I was just looking at 2169's roster and he's gonna be hard to beat. He's got the offense with Mauer, Youk, Choo, Cantu, Uggla, Utley, Zobrist, Ethier, Prado and Gutierrez as he has something for every catagory.

And then...he picked up like every pitcher possible. He has Burnett, Pineiro, Arroyo, Davis, Carmona, Baker, Latos, Kuroda, Garza, Vazquez, Bonderman, Niemann, Francis and Dickey. That's impressive. Every pitcher he has, aside from Carmona, plays for a winning team, and can get wins. He'll be nearly impossible to beat in Ks and Wins each week (he has 4 already this week), and he can afford to have bad outings and start everyone. Burnett has a 16.20 ERA and Davis has a 5.40 ERA this week and he still has a 3.09 team ERA AND, somehow, a 0.97 WHIP. 40 Ks in 2 days.

no-one in particular, just saying morneau/ordonez are the 2 offensive guys i like from your team, no-one else would make sense for me..    i have alot of SP's

Yea...and on the other hand...you have a bunch of aces in Leake, Kershaw, Price, Marcum, Hughes and Jiminez.

2169 has a solid team but everyone can be beat, it depends on what guys are hot on each week, he also has guys that can blow up at any minute,  (arroyo, vazquez, davis, kuroda, dickey ...) plus utley is in a serious slump but 40 K's is alot in 3 days, he had 6 starters go already..   it should get interesting thats for sure, manram has a good team as well,  so does bmt711 and URISS, jesron/powerade arent to far back..  any week someone gets beat 7-3 or better it shakes up the standings bigtime...

Paulino in his last 5 starts prior to facing the Royals....

manram: im just saying you grabbed paulino based off his L5 starts which was a smart move, i watched chen pitch in his L2 starts and i seen good location with various speeds and he was keeping hitters guessing and looked good but he was left in a tad to long and got hit for 5 runs, besides that he had a good 2 starts and i took a chance, each guy here does his own thing and my way has worked pretty good so far, it was a 1 game start to try and get some K's (he had 6) but it backfired in the ERA/WHIP depts,...  even though you and i have our deal with 1st/2nd i still want catagories.. 

Well...I get Ely and then he starts to come to form and be a bust. We have Leake, Garcia, Takahashi, Monasterios, Medlen and Lewis are all rookie (or basically rookie) pickups that have pitched well...yet I go out and trade for the (Ely) who turns out to not be the real deal.

Ely until I got him.

My problem is that if I give you Morneau, first off you have 4 1B, 2nd...your offense would easily be better than anyone elses in the league. I know I said I have to worry about myself...but that would be WRONG.

1st. Hes just a piece of a bigger puzzle. If you traded him to me either Votto, Gonzalez or Morneau wont be around long. 2nd it already is . I can give you something like Garcia Ludwick and something little like Heilman or Torres or Lind or Young
