uhhhh no chance in hell. thats just me though. if i can i will be betting the magic in the series for alot of money. i hope they are not more than -250. was rooting for the cavs so i could get them at a good price earlier on

I don't think Utley will get as many power numbers as he has in the past. Obviously I can be wrong but I make the trades based on how I feel. I think Cruz and Morneau will finish with more HRs from NOW on than Utley (which is most important) and more RBIs as well as both of the guys I got in return are 4-5 hitters in very good lineups while Utley is 3rd in an NL lineup. He'll probably get more runs but you can't win'em all. Same thing with Ethier. He's a 3 hitter and I already have Manny so I'm fine with it. The all started over Hughes. Remember when I wanted Zito and traded for him and Kershaw for Wainwright and Garland? I'm a sucker for guys who I really like. 2169 initially offered me Uggla for Utley. Then I asked what he wanted for Hughes and he sent me Hughes for Ethier. I couldn't do that. Then I sent him Utley and Manny for his trio, he declined. He came back with Hughes/Uggla for Utley. I declined. He went back at me with his trio for Utley/Ethier/Davis.
I don't care. The money is already out of my paypal account so it's basically like I bet it and lost. I'm just having fun now to be honest. If I happen to win...awsome. If not...oh well.

Not cool when other teams are being put at risk by these stupid trades whether you care or not. This guy is right on my tale and now just ass raped someone in a trade. Me being so easy going and just accepting everything may have to stop. I will need to hear what everyone has to say. You get Phil Hughes who has been great for the first month. He has never thrown pry over 100 innings in a season and with the stupid Yankees im sure you will get some Hughes rules down the line. Also Cruz and Morneau are some of the biggest injury risks in the sport. I just dont get it but like i always say it is your team. You trade the best 2nd baseman in baseball and the best OF in baseball right now and get a tiny little upgrade at pitcher which is not even alot. No hard feelings at all just my opinion

Maybe a little harsh. Cruz could easily match eithier. Morneau could match Utley. Hughes could be a good pitcher all season. To me just seems like alot of eggs in a basket on maybes

Well I knew going into the trade that Hughes was basically at 175 innings. But...I can't expect Wade Davis to go 100 innings either...and he doesn't really go deep into games. And he just gives up a fucking HR which may hurt me this week as 1 bad game could get powerade right back into things.
Everyone is an injury risk. I'm not sure Ethier will keep up this HR pace. I really don't. And I'm not getting HRs worth shit right now. Morneau is just power. No go around that. Cruz will get 135+ RBIs this season. I honestly believe that. Cruz will also steal more bases than anyone else in the trade. Utley will probably finish with the best average of the group but I personally think he'll hit around 25-30 HRs...which both of my guys should surpass. And with 8 now...that's not that many more.
