Nugs haven't done shit with those two and add a washed up Hamilton, so now they will be contenders??

unlikely...

In the East...they'll do a lot more than in the West. And it's one of those things where they're in it to win it NOW. Just like what teams do in baseball. Trade the prospects to get that big name (or names) to try and win a Championship.

Great trade, if it goes down, for the Nuggets though. Favors should be pretty damn serviceable and 2 first round picks. Once Melo is gone those first round picks could be very handy (depending on what season they're for).

Also...Denver is 5 games over .500. The Nets are 17 games under. Any sort of change is good for them at this point.

Yea...that's a bit flawed though. Texas has Durant and Aldridge who are stars. I don't count Augustin as a star.

and for anyone that wants Kobe...

Alright thats fine. I offered you a 3-1 because you are running the likes of Kenyon Martin, JR Smith, Drew Gooden, Mike Miller, Brandon Roy out there every night. I wasnt trying to low ball you or anything. I just thought maybe you would think your team would be better with Conley, Crawford, Batum then with a bunch of bums and Kobe.
