I like Haslem. He's the first big guy to come off the bench. Very good for rebounds. 11 last night and game 1 I believe as well. He was my first free agent pickup of the season. If you need blocks...Turiaf may be another good pickup. Apparently this new Knicks team is all about blocking.

Both are too risky imo. You'll never know of their playtime.

Cool, thanks for the insight. For fantasy basketball, should you not worry about your team too much... seems like there will be a lot of variability (at least at the beginning of the season)? Just curious if I should be worried from the get go or let things pan themselves out a little bit.

Ah i canceled my pending trades. It was Horford and Nene for Rondo, Delfino, Conley and Hill if i remember correctly.

Anybody want to trade me a guy whose good at Scoring, rebounding, stealing, blocking shots who doesn't turn the ball over a lot, is a good passer and has high FT and FG percentages? He doesn't need to shoot 3s.

Fine...can someone just give me a guy like Pistol Pete? I just want a scorer. I got guys like Haslem and Turiaf to help me with boards. I won't get 24 assists from a guy, but my guys will all chip in.

I just don't get it. Every single time I bench a player, no matter what sport it is, he goes OFF. Harrington tonight. Haslem with 11 pts and 11 boards last night. Palmer with 38 points last week with football and Dez with 2 TDs. If I had those 2 started...you lose easily.

Ya that sucks. Dez had 3 TDs. If you started Dez and Palmer you still would of lost sorry punk!

Damn, I need some freaking blocks. I have ZERO. Suggestions on someone on my roster to trade for someone who will consistently get me some blocks. Or someone that might be a free agent.

Im on the same boat man. Im in 3rd so far in points with 74 but im DEAD LAST in blocks and TO's. Right now im trying to swing Deron Williams into Josh Smith. I have Dwill, Rondo, Conley, Calderon so i have some depth at PG. Im sure Theo Ratliff and Joel Anthony are you your free agents but you dont want to waste spots on them. You are going to have to trade something.

Cheap resort for blocks. Haywood, Dalembert, McGee. Maybe you can get your hands on one of them on the cheap. Not going to get much else from them but blocks and rebounds. If your team can take the hit go for it.

Thank god. I just did the calculations. I woulda lost by 3 points. So happy I benched those points.

So what do you make of Palmer? Has he come around or are the Falcons' secondary that bad?

McNabb over the Lions or Palmer over the Dolphins?

I'm leaning towards McNabb because it's the LIONS.

The only time the guy puts up good numbers is if his team is getting blown out. He had 2 games this year. Against the Pats in a blowout and last week against the Falcons in a blowout. Best garbage time QB in the league when the defense is playing soft. I would go with McNabb too. He really is having a good year. I know he is i think top 5 in yards.

Turiaf has gotten his share of blocks this season. He has 6 which is tied for 4th in the league so far. Milicic has 9 (2nd most)  so maybe he isn't the best guy to drop.

Sheldon Williams is pretty solid this year. I picked him up before the season cause he had a couple good pre season games and no kmart but i wouldnt have guessed 13 rebounds a game.
