just got this lovely pop up , covers was/is my only open window :

Covers itself is virus free.

The ads you see on Covers are not always Covers paid ads, they are ads following you from other sites you've visited and could pertain malware. Investing in a online protection service (malware, virus, etc.) would be wise.
