You still have a thread in the NBA forums about the site.
They don't care. CT always talks about how they "listen" to the users and it's a crock. They make up their minds and pretend to listen so they LOOK like they are
The spam is a joke, but it would not shock me if they are letting it happen so they can then use it as an excuse for the changeover

Won't matter, there won't be anyone left after the change.
Think about this.... why change at the busiest time of the year? Every major sport except for baseball is going on... more people will be on the site from Thanksgiving thru New Years than any other time of the year. Why risk a change and having the site down (you KNOW it will be) during the peak season?
It just proves that the people who make these changes do not use the site and really have no idea what it is even about.

Why would mods want to drive out winning cappers? Winning cappers, drives web trafffic which drives more revenue through web ads

The thing is this, they KNOW it's a problem. If they sincerely cared, the powers to be would make sure someone is going out of their way to monitor the site
I m leaning more and more towards they are allowing it to happen, because it's pissing people off. They then can switch over and say
"See we told you the new format would fix the problems"

if you been wondering why i have been popping in and out every other week. i have posted less here for that same reason some of my posts got deleted by mods for no reason. it's all football related content and nothing that would violate forum rules. that was upsetting but i kind of let that go but that was the first red flag. then the site started getting more laggy and less user friendly with the recent design changes. now i come back and the spam posts are more frequent than ever and there are more ads too that block the entire screen on mobile and it's hard to x them out.
sooner or later the forums will be a ghost town i probably will be gone by then when that happens. been using this site for at least 6 years now used to comment alot on the official NFL matchup threads before moving to the actual forums. met some good dudes on here who i've interacted with: Sac, Pdub, suuma, achilles,drsuccess, NBAgain, bigd,dog jimbo, mac, tinfoils, porcelain and prob a few others i'm forgetting and mjm altho he doesn't say much always wishes me GL in just about every thread i've made so can't forget that. special shoutout to all mentioned and some i forget it was nice knowin y'all through the years

I complained about the 3 pages of Spam on the NFL one day.
I posted that they needed better VETTING, even if it took 24 hours for a person to be approved and it was done by a verification phone # and call. That would certainly keep the TRASH out.
I posted this complaint and recommendation in both the NFL and NCAAF forums. Both posts were soon deleted.
I expect this thread to be soon deleted.

it can't be that hard to police this site. It really can't. What bothers me is that I really enjoy this site. I mean I can't stand the leaches and the fakes that love to troll and create dumb sentence fragment threads but I enjoy reading good insight and going back and forth with good cappers. It's nuts though: I haven't posted anything in almost three weeks because the whole front page at times is filled with spammers. The mods don't care and the digsh@t on this site gets free reign to flood the pages with stupid threads that ADD NOTHING to the site. im still capping games and still making it happen; it's just too bad we can't get back to a place where this site is a melting pot of knowledge where we can actually come together and beat the books. I'm in the works of trying to create something where good quality cappers can communicate without the nonsense. I'm also in contact with a few on here to see if we can join forces in creating something. The easy thing to do would be go tout but with as many times as I've been accused of being one, why do that?! Why not just help one another for the common good of beating those books a$$es?! Stay tuned.

oh man. what's funnier is their new launch nov 28th for covers. new layout is horrible. I CAN USUALLY SEE MORE THAN 15 THREADS ON ONE PAGE NOW I BARELY CAN SEE 6-7. so much unnecessary space and its not even user friendly.
and they can't even control the spamming too to top it all off
nice.

In our new Responsive Forums which we will soon be cutting over to permanently, there is a Re-Captcha button when creating any new post. As well, a new 'Report Abuse' function is coming soon.
These new functions will alleviate a lot of the spam you may come across on a daily basis.

You see Guys they hear every word and soon it will all be really good here,
Covers will never be the same,it has already been ruined with past changes,the space we used to have was awesome,I had info in there from old friends on this site from 8 years ago.Records of winning and losses and anything else you wanted to keep track of,one day it was gone and we got a page with our names on it and a few posts,they did not give us any options on that,just years of stuff gone in one click of the mouse.
Then they changed the match up section,its not terrible and it is all that keeps alot of us coming back,so they should get enough traffic from that for ads,but the forums will suffer big after the 28th.What I do not understand is why the big deal in asking what we think then not really caring when we tell them,they turned it into a big game and made us think once again that what we thought mattered.It doesn't and never did,took over 20 something post from you guys about present site and future changes before Covers decided to throw you another bone,IN NEW CHANGES ALL WILL BE WONDERFUL.
We gave them another show guys,its going to be great,you wait and see.
