Inbox isnt showing PM's in ( )

The Inbox isnt showing my PM's until i actually click on Inbox and then i can see the messages so unless people click on inbox they dont know they have Private Messages sitting there

i sent out a bunch of PM's and most of them are still unopened from 4-5 days ago and some of the users are active in the forums so this tells me they dont know their there cause its not showing  (1) next to Inbox where your name is 

Can the IT Dept look into this please...    Thanks..

This is an existing issue.  The fix will be pushed live on Monday along with the next code push to the site.

phillyfan,   You and a few others posted in my original notification thread to CT regarding our out going messaging not working properly, on the 5th or 6th I believe. It's still on this page.  If you take a look at my post #14 in that thread does that make any sense to you?  I never received a direct answer to that question from CT so I thought maybe you could give me your opinion in this matter.  Thanks in advance.

  Sorry CT but he's not on my friends list so I could only ask him that question here. I never thanked you guys for the prompt fix on the messaging problem, so I guess now's as good a time as ever.  Thanks.

As mentioned above this should be fixed tomorrow.

any news on th subject yet Rizz or CT ?

i have about 50+ pm's i sent out that are still un-opened and i bet its cause the users dont even know they have PM's cause the Notification's in ( ) isnt working.

   Just checked my Inbox this morning and missed an important new message because I didn't click on to see if it was there.  I guess I just assumed when you guys said it would be fixed yesterday that it would be. I guess I'll just continue to monitor it until the glitch or whatever the problem is, is sorted. Hopefully IT's on it in their usual capable and swift manner.

IT have the fix in place, should be completed today. Saying that there are far more pressing issues on the site that need to be dealt with first...
