CT Why is it NOT possible...

CT: Why is it not possible to have an "IGNORE" option on our individual accounts that would allow established users NOT TO EVEN SEE certain posters?  For instance if I chose to IGNORE all posters with less than 25 posts I wouldn't have to look at (or even see) the daily spamming.  For instance if a certain poster I don't like (and have absolutely no interest in reading or responding to their posts) their posts would not even appear before my eyes.  Why can this NOT HAPPEN?  This isn't rocket science and could AND SHOULD be accomplished with very minimal programming time.  Thanks.

thanks for the suggestion, however, it is not as simple as you make it sounds.

OK, then how about NEW POSTERS

NOT

be allowed to start a NEW THREAD until they have posted, say, 100 responses to valid ongoing Threads.  THAT would put an immediate stop to BOTH SAF's and Spammers alike!

The OP here makes 2 amazing suggestions here:
Ignore function and 100 minimum posts requirement.
Given todays IT ability, covers would be foolish not to implement both these ideas ASAP...it would be the best resolution possible to 2 major issues with the site.

Instead, we get the typical "we'll have our developers look into it" blowoff response. I used to use that all the time when I knew there was nothing to be done for a client or I didn't care enough to give a garbage. Just deflecting blame and responsibility, and I don't fault CT too much, as I said I've been lazy or indifferent in the past as well.

Similar to the search issue. How long have developers been looking into that? Months. But really, no one's done anything. Just more deflecting

Please understand that our developers have a long list of projects and site enhancements/issues on their to-do list. All of your suggestions are logged, they are not being ignored. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide an exact time frame on if/when they will be implemented, but rest assured we are aware of them. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

This is an excellent suggestion...seems like it would solve the problem..at least till something else is developed..
