This game have Over written all over it. How high do you guy think the number is going to be? I figure it will be around 70 . I know it is hard for visitor to play on that blue turf, but Nevada have been there before and play Boise very close a couple of years ago. I think 12 pts is a lot to give a hot and streaking Nevada team.

Nevada +12 for me

Boise hasn't lost a regular season home game since 2001.  They've never lost a WAC game at home.

It would be hilarious to see Nevada win the WAC with all the hype surrounding Boise.  Won't happen though.  I like Boise -12 here.

Nevada is on fire right now. Boise State will probably win this game but I dont think they will cover 12 points. Nevada will definitely score points and this game should be decided in the 4th quarter. I think the over might be a possible play although the oddsmakers will probably set the number very high( 72-75). Nevada +12 is my pick. Prediction Boise 48 Nevada 41 

Borel had some success last week but I would literally never bet against Boise at home...ever.

Thinking the over will be somewhere around 70.  Both teams can just flat out light up the scoreboard.  Gonna root for both O's here take the over.

This is a HUGE game for the Nevada program.  They have not been able to win a big game to get over the hump to start becoming more than a very good mid major program.  Nevada had them beat in Boise 2 years ago in Kapernicks coming out party, and let em off the hook!  Was a close game last year.  If UNR can stop turning the ball over, they have a shot to win the game.  Line is up to 14, buy the hook.  Will also be an over.  If they first half stays under, play the over in the 2nd half.  UNR had a case of fumblitis early in the year otherwise they would have beaten Colo St, and could have beaten Mizzou at home.  The conference of course will want Boise to win as they stand to lose alot of revenue if Boise doesnt get that BCS at large bid.  Will be a great game to watch.  It is so hard to bt against Boise at home!  I would never bet an under in a WAC game, that is just not smart.

Bilas495 is on to something............While Nevada was destroying the worst team in the WAC, Boise State was playing a tune up game against Utah State.  Like Nevada, Utah State is a balanced team that runs a similar offense.  They both utilize the Pistol formation and have a fast accurate passer's (Borel & Kaepernick) that can cause fits for teams that can't contain the QB.  Last week, Boise State struggled early and then shut down Utah State from the 2nd quarter on.  I believe last weeks opponents have set the stage for this game.  Remember Utah State almost beat but eventually lost to Nevada & Fresno State by single digits, while Boise St beat Utah St by more than 30 points in their house.  NMSU is absolutely awful.  While Boise was facing "Nevada light" last week, Nevada could have gotten a better game from their scout team.  Certainly not a good test for the week before Boise.

With snow showers in the forecast and no total listed I will check back after Thanksgiving with other useful tidbits as the game nears.  I wouldn't be surprised if the total was in the high 70's if the weather was not a factor.

Watched some of the Boise game last week and i have to say, their receivers are explosive and with Nevada's pass D fairly weak and at home, I'd say BS is gonna have a field day and BS's D bends but does not break. Teams can score on them and the fact that Nevada is  a running team i would say the smurf field wont play as much of a factor.  End result close game and over.  Taking Nevada to cover 12.

I didnt know Utah st copied the pistol lol.  That UNR v. Utah St game was predictable, at least to me.  Nevada never covers there lately it seems.  Agreed that NMST game was worthless last week.  Being a WAC guy, I think this game will eventually turn into a shootout.  I am not sure Nevada can get enough stops, that is why it is crucial Nevada does not turn the ball over.  Nevada's defense is a typical for them, however the two DE's are for real and will be playing on Sundays.  I have learned that comparing W's does not always equal what happens on the field.  I would expect coach Ault to have a few things up his sleeve, that he saved specifically for this game.  Should be a great game!

Boise St at the half trend at home is hard to go against...I'm sticking with that in this game...would love the over as well if the local gives us one to play with.

Of course I am also a Nevada alum and would love to finally stick it to Boise for once!  Even if Nevada wins, they will still not get a better bowl game.  Got to love how Boise has been able to sustain their success year in and year out, coach in and coach out.  I saw a prediction of a Nevada v. SMU game for the Hawaii bowl.  That would be a bit ironic with Jones coming back to Hawaii for a game.

Nevada is the originator of the Pistol.  I should have said that Utah State ran a significant amount of plays last week out of the Pistol formation.  Either way I believe the experience Boise received last week playing Utah St. will help them a heck of a lot more than the BEATDOWN Nevada delivered to NMSU.

Hoopsprof- I respect this Nevada team.  Quite possibly the best Nevada squad to ever face Boise State.  They are riding a huge waive of momentum beating the crap out of their WAC brothers these last 8 weeks.  Nevada does not fear any of the teams they have beat.  I've been riding them the last 4 weeks.  Like you said this game is HUGE for Nevada, but how has Nevada faired in HUGE games historically?  Whenever Ault has lined his team up against a perceived SUPERIOR opponent, Nevada does not play like Nevada.  I don't believe that 69-67 game a couple years ago will occur in Boise this year.  Boise was not prepared for that Nevada team.  I believe that game was Kaepernick's introduction.  Boise is ready for this Nevada team and knows that a convincing win will almost guarantee them a BCS Bowl Game. 

Boise has always had a tendency to play down to a weaker opponent(Cal Davis), but in HUGE games, especially on the BLUE TURF, playing a QUALITY OPPONENT, the other team gets crushed.   Not always, but usually.  Nevada is a quality opponent.  Yet Vegas has Boise as 12-14 point favorites.  If Vegas had this game at single digits, it would worry me more, since Vegas has been pretty spot on setting the line in Boise games this year.

I love watching Nevada play.....I've ridden them all season since the ND game.....

I'll be amazed if they don't cover the 14.....I wouldn't be surprised if they win straight up.....Nevada D isn't anything to write home about....Boise's isn't either but probably slightly better.....

I think if this game was early in the season, boise would have steamrolled them.  I also think if Boise were to play Oregon today, that game would be totally different.  Boise and the WAC definately have more to gain with a Boise win, than Nevada does with a loss as people will say that Boise isnt that good. 

I figured the line would open at least at -10 for Boise so I do not think it was that far off.

I also think TCU should be playing in the national championship game and CAN beat anyone in the country. 

Wow line is climbing I see, I just lock in Nevada +14 pts. . I still believe this is going to be a closer game then people think.

Three Questions 1 Is Nevada really that good and 2 who have they beat in conjunction to  BSU wins that makes you think they have a chance on the smurf turf . #3 Anyone know what the wheather is calling for .I need to do some research before I make a choice but just looking at it cold and understanding what is a stake for BSU . I would say they would be walking Nevada down to the WOOD SHED and pulling down those britches and whooping dat ass by 3 touchdowns anyway . I don't think Boise can stop Nevada......that being said, it is a two way street.  Very, very high scoring game.....20 something to 20 something coming down to the wire......I'll take the points.
