Nevada at Boise State (11/27/2009)

Nevada got shut down by N.Lame earlier this year. Boise State is a way better team than N.Lame. With that being said, I'll take Boise minus the points and stay on the under.

Nevadas beat NOOOOBODY and they lost their 3 out of conference games.

Paralysis by analysis here gentlemen. Sometimes it just is what it appears to be. Boise is better and Boise wins by 21 though open to a backdoor cover. In black and white Nevada has beaten nobody and played nobody. Not saying Boise is a giant killer but the did hang with, and beat, Oregon. Nevada will get theirs' but Boise will stop Nevada a few times; I don't see Nevada doing that to Boise at all. But I think the over's safe. My local has it at 70 and I'll be on that.

So let me get this straight, your reasoning is based on a game from the beginning of the season?  Come on buddy, you are smarter than that.  The Boise/Oregon game and the ND/Nevada game if played today would have different results.  That's fine if you take Boise, but don't throw out some garbage like that.

Nevada was PLAGUED by turnovers (mostly fumbles), and beat themselves in the Colo St and Missouri game.  Totally different team since they smashed UNLV.  Fresno is not great, but no cupcake.  They can only beat who is on their schedule. 

Those that follow the WAC regularly, know that this should be a good game.  There is one thing you NEVER do in WAC game, and that is bet the under!

Boise very well could smash them.  Nevada has to play a near perfect game.  That is alot of points for a conference game against another undefeated conference team. 

Both teams will score at will, team with the ball last wins, so going with Nevada +14.......

Just waiting for the spread to hit +14 1/2 - that's the best value bet if y'all gonna take the Pack.

I'm going to stick to the 1st half trend with Boise St...I would love to play the total at over 70 as well but I'm not too sure if Nevada's running game will take too much time off the clock to score a lot of points. Boise St is no push over so IMHO although Nevada has three 1,000 yd rushers this season on their team I cannot think that Nevada will run all over them the entire game. If Nevada was at home maybe a different story but this is on the blue field.

I THINK THE KEY TO THIS GAME IS THE DEFENSIVE LINE OF NEV. CAN THEY PUT PRESSURE ON BS QB. IF THEY CANT IT WILL BE LIKE MOST BS GAMES THEY CAN THROW, THROW, THROW, AND SCORE SCORE SCORE. BUT IF THEY CAN THEY HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN THIS GAME OUTRIGHT. UNFORTUNATELY I DONT KNOW A THING ABOUT NEV.

Sniper, I'm not sure that the key is Nev Dline putting pressure on Moore.  I think that the key matchup across the board in this game is what the Boise St. Defense does on 1st down vs that Nevada Offense.  If Boise can hold Nevada to 3.5 yards or less avg on 1st down, they got a good shot to cover this number, if they can't, (I personally don't think they can) then this will turn into a shootout, as Kapernick will have infinite options on 2nd/3rd and short.

Don't get me wrong, Boise is a threat to beat ANYBODY in NCAA D1 this year, and I would never bet against them SU esp at home.  But I'm leaning to think that Nev can keep it within 14(local line).

On the Smurf Turf, Boise State will win.  I don't see any reason why they won't cover the 13.5 (or 14).  This is one of the best defenses Boise has run out there in the last few years.  They are fast and are a turnover machine.  Nevada may score some early points (much like Utah St last week) but eventually will get shut down.  Boise makes some great in-game defensive adjustments.

Very cold weather expected in Boise tonite.  Temps are expected to drop from the 30's into the 20's with a chance of rain and snow showers.

No heavy precip expected but the cold weather may affect Boise's passing game a bit.  Currently leaning on Boise and the UNDER.

Wondering if Nevada tries to play keep away and dominate time of possession with the running game.  Figure that is there best shot to win, and whether or not they pull it off, that combined with the cold temps making me lean towards the under.  Still haven't decided yet, might just sit back and enjoy the show
