I don't think the line is in too bad a spot......maybe 2-4 high..........but the focus on my part will be the over........Ball St. has a wide open passing game that Navy will not stop......and Ball St.'s run defense is suspect.........they might get over 70 in this game.

i'm not really sure how anyone can look deeply into this game and come away with anything other than Ball St...
Ball St is the returning MAC champion... Navy returns very few members of either offensive or defensive line... Kaipo-Noa gives them a reason for hope......... but not in this game, since he won't be playing...
who will be playing? their backup QB... well, he's actually a RB, but he's their backup QB...
meanwhile Navy looks like their defense will be even worse (somehow) than the team last year that gave up something like 40 points per game...
Ball St returns most of their offense, including their QB and almost the entire O-line... and Ball St does a decent job against the run... all they have to do is put 9 in the box on 2nd and 3rd down, force their RB... i mean QB into a couple mistakes, and this is an easy cover...
with Kaipo-Noa in their i wouldn't touch this game... but without him, i know i'm on the right side, win or lose...
if you want even one more thing... both Navy and Ball St defeated FCS (Div 1-AA) teams last week... Navy beat the 90th rated FCS team 41-13... Ball St beat the 50th rated FCS team 48-14... and in that game, Ball St allowed fewer than 3 yards per carry...
focus on the run, and this game is done... you have a RB playing QB for a team that is already afraid to throw the ball... and Ball State did beat Navy last year, so they will be able to prepare well for the Navy offense...

he hurt himself a couple weeks before the first game... can't remember how long he's supposed to be out, but i knew he was out for the first couple games at least, and i confirmed before my write-up that he definitely will not play in this game...

consider this... if you pooled all BCS and FCS teams together, you would have roughly 250 teams... Navy beat the team that ranks 248 among those 250...
yes... 4 passing attempts is ideal for Navy... and they were fortunate to be playing under ideal conditions last week...
they will not have that luxury this week... betting on Navy without Kaipo-Noa is like betting on a boxer with no hands...

14-3 so far up 2200 bucks im definitely going with ball state b/c so far this year backup qbs and new coaches are doing terrible except for ucla game i think it will be back n forth for a bit but ball state ends up ultimately puttin more in the end zone my score prediction is 45-31

before you all jump on this line due to Navy QB..Kaipo-NoaOut..remember Bryant is a senoir and played alot last year...in last years game vs Ball St he played whole 2nd half and had led Navy to victory until FG was blocked in regulation...then he funbled in OT..Ball St made FG for win...He isnt as explosive as Kaipo-Noa, but knows this Offense and runs it just about as well

Friday night special continues: MAC over the armed forces
Under-rated Ball St. is getting a gorgeous line - 7 (Probably should be closer to -13). I'll lay off the over since Navy may not put a lot on the board. With all the running they do they are just going to burn clock.

respect qb nate davis, recevier love and ball state's high flying O..... but willing to take any points i can get with the midshipmen ground based attack . look for shaun white to have another big game rushing the 348 yds last weekend .. . plus the new coach worked under paul johnson as OC , so he knows the O like paul did. navy 34-29...-
