This week was another chop wood week so to speak. Going 9 - 5 and picking up 11 units. I m closing in on my goal to hit 60% for the year. Im killing these totals, hope you guys are paying attention and cashing in.  We have a ton to talk about...so let's get started.


Ten Things we learned

1. Well, I told you last week that at some point Nebraska's young stud would have to throw the ball to win a game. Enough said.
2. Ohio S.T continues to look bad on the road. What is the deal with this teams special teams. The trademark of ALL  championship teams are great special teams play. This team doesn't have that. So you do the math.
3. Great play call at the end of the game there " Ole Ball Coach ". Why am I hard on South Carolina? Enough Said. Why even run that play? Kick the damn FG. Your better than Kentucky. Just the same old S.C.
4. How good is Michigan S.T? Pretty good IMO. Go Back and look at my College football Breakdown. Some of those predictions are looking pretty good as of now.
5. What a shootout in the SEC yesterday. Auburn and Arkansas scored a ton of points. Predicted by yours truly. Auburn and Gus Malzuan are a machine right now. Question is, how far can these guys go? That 6'6 monster of a QB IMO is the biggest threat in the country right now. Heisman Winner? Right now I say yes.
6. Most of you prolly didn't see it or even cared. But, Western Kentucky almost won there first game in like 15 years... until they gave up 28 points in the final quarter to lose the game. God bless you Hilltoppers. May you have good health.
7. Hey Florida Gator fans. LMAO, WTF is going on with your program? Your now Losing to Miss S.T. Urban Myer looks like he is about to give up. Peach bowl here you come.
8. It's time for my Les Miles segment. These guys could play my local High school team close. Don't let that final score fool you. LSU really struggled to win that game last night. Les Miles is either the smartest man alive, or this guy is the luckiest guy ever in the history of mankind. I know I have said it before, but is he really crossed eye? Can somebody confirm that?
9. Oklahoma is quietly winning every week. I predicted a Oklahoma vs Boise S.T BCS Championship game. Go back and look at my college football breakdown. These guys are good and are getting better every week. IMO the only game they have worth worrying about is @ Oklahoma S.T.
10. Boise S.T is the best team in the country. I know you guys don't want to hear that, But it's true. Every week I come on here and tell you they are and some of you tell me why your team is or why Boise isn't. Well, all of those other teams keep dropping like flies and Mine is still here. When this season is over, we will ALL watch Boise hold that trophy above there head.

Yeah i tailed on the totals.  You were absolutely on fire with those.  That South Carolina game was bullshit.  Last 4 minutes of the first half they got like 14 easy pts.  TOs were ridiculous even then we almost won.  It came down to 4th and 7 with like less than 1.30 secs and one blown coverage for a TD.  They deserve to lose.

May Week 8 be your BEST yet in this Young Season

Landry Jones went 30-34.... This Offense is getting better
10. Boise S.T is the best team in the country. I know you guys don't want to hear that, But it's true.     Always a must read on Sunday morning, Boom.  Looks like the Broncos do have a chance to go to the NCG.  Never was I a doubter, but thought they might get screwed, with all the zero loss teams. "Dropping like flies" is so appropriate, and looking for the Ducks to go down next. Don't feel they can run the table despite their high powered offense. I'd rather see TCU or Utah go undefeated, so NCG could possibly be two NQ schools.  If that happens, surely the powers to be will institute a play off system.  Great job on your totals this week and BOL in the weeks ahead.

Not sure of leans at this point Boom,no lines yet, but think you're spot on that Clemson's looking to put a beat down on P Johnson and crew.  Last years loss must still sting.  Looks like one of your WR's got hurt this week, not sure if that's a factor or not, but against Techs stinky D shouldn't be.  Interesting to see if Sparty can hold up, going back out on the road.  Cousins could have a field day in the air as NW has played three shitty teams at home and still has given up just under 300 yds in the air in those.  Looking over games right now, and waiting for lines.  Riding your coat tails with Clemson for sure.  BOL

Let's not get too carried away about UF, I don't think anyone could have predicted how scared and ineffective Brantley is, he refuses to throw down field, and always zeroes in on the outlet man.....this is a rebuilding year, and they will be back, with Urban at the helm.

Watch out for LSU....it's ugly but all they have to do is win....

Would love to see Boise take OU out in the BCS champ game, if that is the matchup there is no way Stoops can coach a winner in that game.

I would also be fascinated by a OU-OR champ game..

I'm a little concerned about this weeks game mainly because I haven't seen Missouri play. OU will indeed get better with each week but I'm not going to get to excited whooping up on Iowa St.

I'll have to dig into this one and see what Stoops has to say before placing my wager.
