Same players, a year older, obviously improved from last year... Book that... Brantley? Fla passing O? Improved?  I'm sorry, but I am not sold on that. Who have you played that would make you think that? Your team is BARELY ahead of Alabama in offensive statistics, and the teams you have played don't even compare.

And no, Tennessee is not on the same level as Arkansas. And no, Kentucky is not on the same level as Penn St.

Florida could have put up 60 on 3 of their first 4 opponents if they wanted, they ran the football in every game of the 2nd half about 50 times. Anyone that has watched UF play so far knows their stats are meaningless to this point.

Demps was banged up in the UT game and it was hard to get stats anyway from Rainey because he was shitting on Tenn all by himself. No one in here is capping the game at all

The same can be said for Alabama... You're speaking in hypothetical's, and it's pointless.

If you are going to show highlights of Easley, make sure it's not against FAU! My local highschool team could be "living in the backfield" against FAU! fail at your point trying to be made. Also yall's rushing defense is 5th in the nation? Well thats because the best rushing team you have faced is 90th in the country! So you might as well through that stat out the window

Rainey because he was shitting on Tenn all by himself - Maybe when you combine passing yards, but not when you look at the running game. His yards against a fail of a Tennessee team were not impressive. As I said before, I am in no way worried about the Fla passing game, when we SHUT DOWN Arkansas.

Im getting to the point where Im wondering your age

You are just too biased to discuss capping games with, you shoot down any positive about any other team that isn't Alabama and fall off a cliff if anything negative is said about Alabama.

Yeh all you guys keep pointing to who the Gators have played but Alabama hasnt played anyone either. And dont give me crap about Arkansas or Penn State. Tennessee is in the same category as them. And we all know the Gators havent even began to show what they have on offense. The Gators have ran 3 running plays and 4 passing plays all year. They have shown nothing. Im not saying Brantley is going to pass all over Alabama, I do not expect that. But its very easy to get 200 yds passing in CFB. Take McCarron last week.. He threw for 200 yards last week, but 98 of those yards were on 2 plays were his WR made him look good. And that was on a terrible Arkansas defense. Dont expect to see the Gators missing any tackles Saturday night

Yeh all you guys keep pointing to who the Gators have played but Alabama hasnt played anyone either. And dont give me crap about Arkansas or Penn State. Tennessee is in the same category as them. It's been enough to keep us ranked in the top 3 in the Nation... We have also played two top 25 teams, who are still both ranked higher in the AP, and USA today polls than the teams you played. They are also ranked higher statistically.

Do you think Bama has shown what they can do on offense? Or defense? Really?

You are just too biased to discuss capping games with, you shoot down any positive about any other team that isn't Alabama and fall off a cliff if anything negative is said about Alabama.

Ok, you're right, I'll just shut up and wait for Saturday, as we all should do. If a thread ever needed to die, it's this one. Agree to disagree, eh gentlemen?

Good writeup Coach.  I truly think Florida will win this game.  Bet the Moneyline.  Don't take the points.

    Alabama vs Florida

Florida wins the toss up and does not defur, looks like Alabama will get the ball for the start of the second half. Well folks we got another SEC match up here with 1st year coach Will Muschamp who has bought in Charlie Weis as his OC and the Swamp is loud tonight.

The wind is blowing 5-8mph out of the east and Florida has Demps standing at the 15 yd line and here we go the ball goes threw the end zone, and Florida starts on their own 20. This Alabama defense is something else were in for a good ball game.

Here comes the Florida offense now we have not see Brantley in big plays and tonight he is going to need some. Brantley sets himself in the shotgun and...the ball goes over his head and Alabama recovers on the 8yd line and Alabama is 1st and goal, just seconds into the game this is not the way Florida wanted to start the game folks and here comes the Alabama offense.

Richardson is the a single setback and the young AJ McCarron is under center, with Maze and Hanks as the wide outs.
McCarron fakes the hand off rolls to his right and theirs Williams wide open and right off the bat with the 1st turn over of the game
Alabama has put 6 on the board waiting the extra point.

Looking at Muschamp he is not a happy camper folks, his face is red as fire truck, but there's plenty of time.

The wind seems to have gotten under the last kick from Alabama it could be a big factor here tonight, Alabama sure don't won't
Demps catching the ball and getting himself in motion going downhill folks so look for Alabama to kick away from him all night.

The ball goes out at the 18yd line, even though it loud here in the Swamp i don't think it will bother Alabama, this defense has been together playing great and Happy Valley was loud also, its like
they know what one anothers going to do before they do it, what you think Herb....

Well Saban has his players so disciplined it not very offen there's a problem....yea having to face Saban making a mistake would just about want one of these young men want to catch a gray
    hound bus back to Tuscaloosa.

Florida starts on their own 18, i just can't see them running the ball down Alabama throat you Herb...no their best opinion is to try and get Demps or Rainey on the outside with their speed....Well Herb that Alabama defense has some speed their self, with Kirkpatrick, Lester, Barron with a host of others which are like magnets to the ball.

Brantley is in the shotgun, and here comes the Tide folks....Wow did you see Hightower hit Brantley i mean his feet come off the ground and we have a flag.

This could be a rough night for Brantley, we seen what happen to Wilson last week.

It looks like a hold and it is Herb, yes this was a problem last week with Florida they have got to stop giving up yds on penalties if they want to win this game minus yds is not going to get it...i agree Herb......Herb did you fart, gezz Herb I'm going to throw up my supper...sorry i will try and hold it till after the game, its them gator hot dogs.

Moved ahead to time constraints...2nd QT

I not surprised Florida is -19 yds in rushing and has done gave up 2 interceptions Herb.....well with this defense you have got to put the ball in the air, Alabama's defense is not given anything up on the ground and or rank among the best in the NCAA.

Yea Alabama 17 Florida 0 is about what we was expected if this Florida defense can't hold up, but as the game wears on the
Florida players have their hands on their hips they look tired
already.....look. Another thing is Alabama has made Gator fans quite.

Florida is just to young learning Muschamps defense and Weis's offense against this Alabama team...Herb but i see potential for their future. They just don't need to put Alabama on their schedule next year and if Weis don't lose some weight Florida is going to
have to get some people out the students section to wheel his fat ass around on the sidelines....yea i would hate to be around him after him eating some of them gator hot dogs.

You know Richardson was born and rasied right here in Florida and his family is here and allot of his friends may have something to do with why he has 158 total yds going into the half. How did them Gators ever let Richardson out of the State of Florida that Saban sure can recruit.

    2nd half....

Well down by 17 you can bet Muschamp wished he would have defured to Alabama especially after the bad snap and Alabama scoring within seconds of this fine SEC match up dominated by Saban and company.

Maze has been good tonight against the Florida special teams, but has not broke one off yet like he done against Arkansas last week...Herb, I was watching Florida at practice yesterday and they dressed one of the young players about the same size as
Maze and strapped a red No4 jersey on him and this was a main
thing getting ready for Alabama, Muschamp just didn't want to give up the big play.

Alabama is on Florida's 47 again giving McCarron great field position, this young QB has managed this game fine by not giving the ball up and spreading it around to everybody even Richardson has 79yds receiving and Lacy has looked good also with 48yds receiving.

There he goes again Hanks was wide open...what a beautiful pass...thats 2 Td's for Hanks tonight.

    Moved ahead for time constraints....

Alabama 27 Florida 0  ....well into the 4th QT

Florida has finally gotten into field goal range with 4th and 9 would you go for it Herb....well they have nothing to lose why not, but Muschamps bringing the field goal unit on to the field look for a fake here....No i was wrong i guess Muschamp just didn't want his team being shutout.

    Alabama 27 Florida 3

Saban has taking his 1st stringers out of the game throughout the 4th QT, and with Sims under center look for Alabama to run the ball with 1.49 left and Florida with no time outs.

Well that's it Herb now you can fart again....but let me run 1st yea these shitty Gator Hot dogs has messed me up tonight thanks for calling most of the game.

No problem well folks that makes Alabama the winner as they are 5-0 with the final Alabama 27 Florida 3 and we thank you for joining us as we look forward to next week when Florida goes on the road to Baton Rouge to play LSU while Alabama goes back home to face Vanderbilt Commodores.

Good night is there anything you got to add Herb,.....
herb....herb...well folks Herb has gone to the bathroom so remember if you're ever in the swamp don't eat no gator hot dogs...

@PSU and Arkansas at home are absolutely tougher games than Tennessee at home.  I can't believe intelligent SEC fans would argue this.  Tennessee has been an absolute trainwreck these past few years.  I respect Dooley, but he just hasnt had the time to reverse the damage that has been done.  Arkansas on the other hand has one of the better coaches in the league and is coming off a BCS bowl season.  Arkansas will win 10 games this year, Tennesse may not win a SEC game against teams not named Kentucky or Vanderbilt.

Yeh every now and then its nice to get some back and forth going before a big game. I am by no means predicting a win, but getting 6 points was a gift in what should be a close game. Just think the Gators have a few matchup advantages that they should be able to exploit. But mostly I just think these two teams are way more even than anyone wants to admit except myself. I also wonder whens the last time a team has beat Florida 3 times in a row? Has to be atleast 15-20 years. That would be a good stat if anyone knows the answer. Double revenge angle here for the Gators and its in the swamp. Its going to get fiesty!
