I had VTech big so I am biased, but I wasn&#x27;t even worried about the review so I clearly thought it was a catch. Otherwise i would have been sweating it.

I honestly think it was not a catch... but with the TV replay rules... then they should have declared a touchdown because it wasn´t any indisputable evidence to overturned it..

Call on the field has to stand in this situation.  If it was ruled incomplete on the field I&#x27;d be ok with it.  VT dominated the game, I believe the coach made some bad calls.  Fake punt on 4th and 1 after burning a timeout and thats what you come up with?  Let your big QB sneak it or punt it away with that outstanding defense.  The offensive play calling and untimely turnover cost them the game

The sickest thing about it was that VT shoulda probably won the game by 10&#x2B; if they hadn&#x27;t fucked up nearly every red zone visit horrifically, the game should never have got anywhere near to overtime.  The refs found ways to call stuff against VT all game and only called against Mich when they absolutely had to.

I had Michigan -2.5 and I won&#39;t but even I think it was a TD the upping on the field was a touchdown and there was not enough evidence to overturn that. And the tv replay plays better angles than the officials get. I don&#39;t get that call. Know who&#39;s Michigan might have scored a TD and tied it to force another OT but to rob that kid of an awesome play like that knowing what&#39;s at stake someone&#39;s head should roll. That&#39;s clearly worse than the missed extra point that they said was good

What did they rule? That he didn&#x27;t have control or that part of his body hit out of bounds before his leg hit in bounds?I think the latter.Too close to over-turn that if you ask me. If it was ruled out of bounds at first then you don&#x27;t over-turn it, but it was ruled a TD on the field. That was not conclusive enough to over-turnPoor kid had redeemed himself for not picking it up on the fake punt.

i actually had Michigan (also had the over) and when I saw it real time, I thought, no way that was a catch. whenthe ref indicated TD, I thought the ref was giving himn a borderline decision.

Then , when I saw the replay, it looked clearly like a catch. his elbow obviously comes down in time and the ball never seemed to rattle around. i did see the ball drag the ground and that might have been where the final decision came from. i never saw any lack of control. As I said,, the ball dragged a little and it seemd like his hands were around and under the ball. BUT, the ball did touch the ground .

[/Quote]Thats what I&#x27;m thinking, I&#x27;m not going to go back and youtube the catch to call on anyone on here, its pointless, but from what I remember it DID look like the bottom nose of the football touched the ground, granted he had his arms/hands around you get into the argument about establishing possession if the ball is moving with in the hands.....Think of holding a football on the sides with points pointing to the sky and the ground....if it rotates end-over-end, do you still have possession? I feel as though both college and pro football have been unclear and inconsistent with this rule

i had michigan ML and i can say to me it was without a doubt a td i thought he was out of bounds but the elbow was down first in the endzone and they said he didnt have controll of the ball? BS
