Didnt buy the hype of Clemson Not buying the hype of the Louisville Schoolgirls
Louisville is a team that lost to Syracuse and Utah @ home last year. Midd tenn scored 42 points against them, Syracuse put up 38, South Florida put up 55. Louisville won 6 games last year solely because of Brian Brohm. Now for those of you who are drinking the Hunter Cantwell kool-aid, he cant replace Brohm's 4000 passing yards with 30 tds last year. None of Louisville's top 5 recievers will be playing in this game, the only top 5 reciever returning is Scott Long and he broke a bone his foot and he will be out. Brock Bolen will be pounding the rock, he is prob the best skill player on the offense IMO. The O Line has 2 good starters and 3 unprovens.
Louisville's defense is prob glad that they are only returning 4 starters because they were absolutely terrible. Ron English the new D coordinator said he was "suprised by the lack of playmakers" during the spring training. Heyman is the only bright spot of the D at nose tackle. This D will be used and abused the hole season
Kentucky loses Andre Woodson and Rafael Little. But make no mistake here, the running backs behind little prob have more talent then he did. Derrick Lock avg 5.5/carry and scored 5 td's. They are very deep at the RB position and will be running up and down the field on louisville's horrid defense. They return 3 of the 5 starters on the O Line.
Kentucky Defense returning 8 starters on the unit that ranked 67 nationally. They return 4 of the top 5 tacklers on the team. 3 of the top 5 sacking machines inlcuding the top pass rusher Jeremy Jarmon.
While Louisville has dominated the series the past 5 years it is mainly because of Louisville's potent offense which is severely depleted. Louisville lost there top passer, top recievers, top rushers and nearly the hole defense.
My pick with confidence is Kentucky +4 and the Kentucky ML

I'm playing my home team, Kentucky, money line and the under.
Kentucky should have the advantage in coaching, experience, and skill at most positions. Only advantage for Louisville is home (which isn't for some reason a big deal in this series) and qb experience.

How rare is it when things go EXACTLY like you thought? Louisville had NO BUSINESS being favored in this game, they would have lost 10 out of 10 in this spot.
2 programs flying in different directions. Three bets cashed on one game feels good!!!!!!!!!!!
