Last season Iowa St was -30 to UND this season -15. 

The 4 million dollar transfer is the dog while the Transfer in from ZBew Nexico that completes 58% of his passes and even though he ran for 19 TDs in the mountain west he had 12 tds and 12 ints.  

Utah was desperate and got him late? He will be prepared I’m not concerned about the timing of his transfer but Utah being a road chalk is just a shock.  UCKA needs to survive the first quarter or first half until the coaches can adjust.  When that happens they could make Dampier one dimensional.  12 tds and 12 picks last year in the mountain west? 

Don’t know how this game plays out but a road chalk looks to me like a very tall task.  

Clearly I missed this game in my data searches.  give me the 4 million guy at +200 please. 

In all due respect, I think Dampier is legit.  12-12 looks marginal, but that was at New Mexico.  He was the 1st team MWC qb last season.    The question I have is does Nico really want to be there.  Why are you surprised at Utah road chalk in this scenario?    And the Rose Bowl is not exactly an intimidating venue for road teams.   Better coach better position players, and perhaps the better quarterback in “week 1”…I will take my chances on the road fave in week one for less than a TD…

 I’m certainly not in your kitchen about you selecting Utah.  I kinda already discussed what my points are. 

I am just backing the 4 million dollar qb and the team that is investing huge money against a guy with marginal stats from New Mexico.  

I am against the grain against must people.  I’m very comfortable in this situation.  I mean very comfortable.  

Tino Sunseri, you know the O’ coordinator for IU last season? 

Rose bowl is highly overrated.  I only said on the road.  The venue no matter.  The UCLA fans have been dormant for good reason but as it seems to me they might be building something.  At least they are investing wisely in my opinion.

i adjusted some lines and added and subtracted plays based upon stale lines and games I don’t recommend any longer.  
People are watching and might be riding.  I feel it’s more important for my picks to stay fresh current and relevant.

As you can go back and read if you’re not talking football I’m not interested.

ask any questions you like about any of the games I select.  If you pose good questions we can discuss. I’m not emotional about any game it’s not personal it’s football.  

What I like about UCLA  is their 2024 win loss results.

In 2024: After escaping the Hawaii game and getting smashed by Indy they started moving forward.  3 straight covers by top 25 quality teams.  The lost by a hook to Minny in a 4 point game.  Follow that up with their first win on the season and 2 more wins after that. 2 road wins vs. Nebraska and Rutgers.  Then a home win vs Iowa.  

6 out of 7 covers and the cover failure was by a hook. If I was to go back and check that cover loss could have probably been a push. 

After this streak, I analyzed their naxt game lines as not as valuable.  That lack of value gives them credibility from the lines maker.  

Add in Nico I this season tgat was not the most productive but with only 5 ints and 19 tds they can game manage him into playing the type of games that win games. 

short complete passes running game. First downs and not a lot of mistakes.  I know they can do it as they beat the teams they did last year.  Clearly the coach has a mind to know winning football 

add in a offensive coach  from Indiana tons of credibility for him last season.  

A lot of people like Dampier and I get it.  His running stats are off the chain.  The counter to this?  The whole offseason to deep dive into him.  These are big 10 teams .  UCLA is back on my radar after what they achieved last season and if (and I’m betting they can) contain this running QB and make him throw that where is makes mistakes. 

Dampier I want to see him elevate and do his thing against A prepared big 10 team.  Utah is fundamentally strong each year I get that. They play football properly and are disciplined.  

As away favorites with competitive lines not as high as -10 Utah is 9-19 ATS and 14-15 straight up.  This is a big problem for them a long time running.

with Utah in a historically bad line situation Dampier elevating against a big 10 team, UCLA winning against good teams last season.The addition of Nico.
