I  would like to know your thoughts on taking these games so early....don't you think that you could possibly get a better line or at least a better price if you were to wait a little closer to game time on some of these games?

It's hit or miss.. the hit is games that I grab early and the line moves in the other direction.. this seems to be the case more times than not, even though I'm a typical dog player.. this year I feel more than in years past, I've gotten pretty good at grabbing the dog at the best line possible.. I'm sure some of these will move as we get closer to kick-off, but it's basically just an extended version of betting games on Monday for the following Saturday..

One other hit I'll make is with Totals.. most bettors will bet the Overs in totals, esp. with high scoring teams in bowl games.. so I felt like I had to lock in most of my Totals now, because I know in 2 weeks that line is going to be at least 1-2 points higher and then I'm laying a bad number..

The miss is obviously with 5-6 weeks between games, players can get suspended, coaches can quit or get fired, etc.. I try to only play games early I have a good feel for and, unless there are unforeseen circumstances (Iowa this year, MSU LY), the team should be pretty much in tact come bowl game time...

Think the TCU line will continue to drop, so I'm going to wait and take them at -1 closer to kick-off..

Going to see how UCONN practices go considering Edsall interviewed for job or to, but anything 17 or above I will be on

Not sure what's stopping me from betting FSU at +3.5.. seems like a coin-flip to me.. going to have to read up bit more before making a decision..

IMO..TCU doesn't go lower then -2.

what's your thoughts on the other two games on Saturday?I have a lean on Fresno St...no opinion on the other game.

Slo.. small lean to Fresno and BYU, but will probably lay off both.. no need to force  + rooting interest in both in confidence pools for $$ either SU or ATS.. so technically, action on every game..

Very much like that Arkansas call.  Those guys are playing great ball and one would think they stay focused for this one.  If not mistaken this is first BCS bowl trip for Arkansas and Kniles seems to be the missing piece of offense.

Like almost all your picks but like ohio&ohio state to cover. Best of luck this bowl season you are one of the better CFB handicappers out there!
