i could be a glutton for punishment here as I'm going to back the huskies. mobile qb's tend to give stanford problems, nunes going on the road for the first time and i think this bye week will hinder more than help. I think the worst thing that could have happened is for Stanford to have a bye week as coming off a monumental win and not having to "get over it" quickly as allowed for them to enjoy it a while. Stanford is #1 in the nation against the run, Washington doesn't have Chris Polk, I don't think Sark is dumb enough to ram his head into a brick wall, I don't think he runs the ball at all tonight, why would you? Wash defense has some players on it and I think they on the other hand have benefited from a bye week and extra time to prepare. Stanford's offense isn't all that impressive by the numbers, they are 86th in the country in passing (washington 14th ranked pass d) and for all the running, they are only 73rd in the nations. flip sides and their pass D is ranked 102nd! again, i doubt sark runs the ball very much and i see a lot of price in space and making things happen. the reverse line move and the above bits are enough for me to pull the trigger on the points.
