GOY line last week was -7.  Doubt this settles in at that number though.  Guessing its -10 or so.

I'd be shocked if it were that low, but I'd hammer it if it was.  I like OU quite a bit at anything under -14.

Getting 14+ with ND is a no brainer....Stoops can't close in BIG games....they may win, but not by 14.

Can't close?  Give me an example of OU "not closing" on a big game.  Games that occurred in Norman are preferable.

I'm not a big ND fan, but if you're giving me 14pts in this match-up, I'll gladly take them. OU will win, no doubt....but ND's D will keep Landry in check most of the game.

The game is IN Norman.  Big difference in comparing OU outcomes in Norman, and outside of Norman, don't you think?

That said, find me some big games OU didn't close on outside of Norman?

That said....as long as Stoops doesn't suit up and as long as he keeps his mouth shut and avoids his typical "Village Idiot" moment that he's become famous for in big games outside of Norman.....the Sooners should control the game and win by 14+.

Stoops fucking blows!  which really sucks, because this could be game of the year material... but the fact is, Stoops cannot be trusted, especially against (a) better coaches, (b) good defenses...

You said BIG GAMES, and you said CLOSING.  Neither of those games were big, and OU was never in the OSU game.  Down 24-0 before we even scored.  So how is that "not closing?"  I suppose you could say they didn't close the Baylor game since it was close, but that wasn't a big game.  So.....



Thank you.  Both were big games.  The case can certainly be made that OU didn't close against Boise.  Absolutely.  I don't consider the UF game a bad loss, or choke job, but they did score the winning points in the 4th quarter, and OU didn't answer.  So if you want to call that not closing, I'm not going to argue it.  That game was in 2008.  The BSU game in 2006.  Neither in Norman.

That said, I can list WAY more big games that OU has won, than they have lost.  The last 3 UT games?  TT in 2008?  At FSU last year?  Some big games against Mizzou in recent games.  OU's been GREAT in Big 12 Championship games.  Beat #9 OSU, in Stillwater, in 2010.

So yeah.
