NCAA Week 1
i'm not understanding the love for Hawaii... or maybe the lack of love for CU... last year CU absolutely man-handled Hawaii in the 2nd half, and just wore them down physically... they return 17 starters vs. 10 for Hawaii... this is a physical mismatch up front, and CU should be improved from last year, while Hawaii needs replace some key personnel...
right now, CU getting a TD in this game looks like a gift... put a gun to my head and i would still take CU at a pick'em... this is currently one of the best looking bets of week 1, but i haven't yet pulled the trigger on it...
maybe someone can tell me what there is to like about Hawaii... other than the travel factor, which is much less significant in week 1...
most of your other plays look strong, as usual!

Looking at Idaho and If Memphis gets to more than 31 I might not be able to resist.
Auburn is intriguing. Everyone thinks fading them is gonna be a great idea.....I'm not so sure. Montana may creep on the card.....as well as Duka and the Georgia ML. NW is out as there are too many questions. TCU is lookin better and better as Baylor love has driven this thing down to 4.5. The Horned Frogs have become a machine (like Boise) and just reload with talent.

that Auburn line is dipping low enough to get me interested for sure, I have a 20.5 available
Gus should be able to whip up enough offense to cover that number in that crazy heat you would think?
share your thoughts on Illinois with me, that line is now 3 touchdowns and I was wanting to lean to Ark St., I'm not a fan of the Zookster

Auburn should pound the rock early and often and come 3rd quarter they should start breakin off some big chunks of yardage and the defense should be able to hold their own (at least get a few stops/TOs)
I have no love for Zook either, but he does have a little talent to work with. ILL was 10th in the nation in rushing last year and 32nd against it. Ark St was 104th against the run (playing a slightly less than stellar schedule). Scheelhaase has a year under his belt and should have a big day on the ground and should have success passing (he had 13 tds and only 1 int the last 7 games last year). They slaughtered Baylor in the bowl game and I dont see why that "momentum" wont continue. Offense returns 7 that averaged almost 33 ppg and defense 6.
Crazy as it may seem, I think Illinois has a great chance to be undefeated when they host Wisconsin Nov 19th.....
Ill 48 Ark St 13

Mississippi State , Wisconsin, and Kentucky should win big and cover those large numbers.
Wisconsin should dominate, but laying 35 is a lot to ask week 1 ![]()
