5 - 7 This past week. 68 -70 on the year isn't the worst thing on the planet. Trust me! I still have a ton of football left to be in the positive. But some of you nut jobs who love to talk shit is hilarious, im not kidding either. I didnt post all day yesterday then late last night I post for the first time in 4 days and BOOM!! Here they come. One guy says nobody gives a shit about your ten things!! Ok, so is that why you have been patiently waiting all day? Yeah, nobody cares dip shit. Your Boy Boom is about to dominate the rest of this season. Mark that down right now.... Sit back haters and all the punk bitches who are pissed that my thread gets more views in one day then theres gets all week. Boom is in a rare mood tonight. Call it me educating you, call it whatever you want to, but dont call it bull shit...cause haters, Im about to own you like a fat kid owns a piece of cake. LET'S GO!!!!!





                                            Ten Things We Learned



1. Let's go ahead and get it out in the open here boys. Les Miles is a idiot. Have I not been telling you guys this for years now? My goodness this cat is dumb as a football bat! Yeah LSU played a good game, only to let this nut job screw it up. This game is one of those games where you feel like your on the right side yet fate will not allow it to happen. Tell me this Les. Why Fake the FG? Why do the onside kick? Is it because your a moron? Yep! You know what " good " football teams do? They dont do onside kicks and they dont fake FG's. I would love for someone to defend this guy. Please come in here so I can destroy it. Please!! Les Miles, the joke just isn't on you.....you are a joke.

2. I think that it's clear that the college football world is in favor of doing whatever it takes to protect the "brand" called Notre Dame football. Yes I had Pitt before you nuts say im trying to defend N.D. I won my bet! But, let us not forget the Bull Shit Pass Interference call. The game is over at that point. It's over. Pitt ran threw these guys like hot butter all day. They should have won the game. But you know what they say, you cant blame the refs. Well, BS!! I say yes you can! Brian Kelly after the game was smiling, knowing that he just stole that game.

3. Florida can you ever have over 300 yds of offense? I mean at this point you have become the biggest joke or should I say, most overrated team in the country. WTF! 14 - 7 to Missouri! Let's be honest here too. You guys couldn't score if the NCAA allowed you to have 14 guys on offense. Franklin throws 4 ints and yet 14 points is all you could get. Your offense lives in a 10 yd box. Im so glad your not going to the SEC Championship game, Alabama would roll you up like a wet blunt and smoke you. Before the Florida haters come in here and start with the whole we would beat Clemson shit. Please. Get real.

4. Can we talk a little about that " Power House " SEC? Yeah, Alabama is good. But let's get real here. Tulsa just about smacked Arkansas in Arkansas. And that " very good miss st " team got punked. Alabama is on a whole different level. The rest are just a bunch of " average teams ". If you dont like that the I really dont give a shit. The truth hurts. These mid level teams are no better then any other mid level teams from other conferences. I mean really.... Can you imagine if Florida played Oregon? My goodness.

5. Lane Kiffen has to be the worst coach in SC history. This guy is just getting lit up every week. I thought the " dream team " was gonna take you to the promise land. This defense is exactly what we all warned about at the beginning of the season. Average and lack of depth. This is what happens Lane when you start going for 2 points all the time. It's called Karma bitch! Even all the SC people are pissed off right now. They know this guy is a jack ass and deserves to be fired. What do you do with Dad lane? The guy is getting torched with that " legendary " Tampa 2 defense. Can you say Aloha Bowl or emerald nut bowl?

6.You guys want to know why Gary Patterson is one of the best in industry? Cause he has a pair! What a great call to go for it. This isn't the first time he has done this either. Remember last year at Boise? Yeah, another good call. Just imagine what this guy could do at a Florida or a Georgia. I have been saying it for years and I hope one day someone catches on. Gary Patterson is one of the best coaches in all of college football. W.V has just feel apart. Remember a long time ago when the use to talk about the Heisman with Geno? Yeah, burn that stock!

7. I guess I have to bring it up if nobody else will. Nebraska got a gift. Michigan st got screwed. If anyone can literally say that was a pass interference, then that person is a idiot. Oh Sparty. This just isn't your year guys. If these guys just had a few play makers on the offense they could easily be 7- 1 or so. Michigan st is probably the biggest disappointment in all of college football other then Arkansas. See what happens if you cant score? Hint Hint Florida!! You guys are like a poor mans Michigan st. Say goodbye to Bell Sparty fans. This guy has been a good one. you only have him for a few more games.

8. Bill Snyder is a damn wizard. I mean really! Can some check this guy and see if he is a real human or not. Without question this is the best coached team in the country. Yes that includes Alabama too. Just imagine if Snyder had the players Saban had. WOW! I think these guys are going undefeated now. A few weeks ago I thought that time and the schedule would eventually do them in, but I see it clear as day now. These guys are in. Will they beat Alabama? Probably not. But if anybody can do it. Snyder can.

9. Don't know if any of you know or not, but Maryland is using a backup freshman LB at QB. Talk about bad luck. It seems ever since Edsall has took over at Maryland they have been cursed with injury's. Clemson is gonna bitch slap these guys this week. I would not be surprised if Maryland loses this guy to a injury as well. All 4 of the starting QB's are out for the season. Has that ever happened? Not sure.

 10. Another average week in the books for me. But im starting to get a little bit of a chip on my shoulder. Getting a little tired of the horse shit. As I said, mark it down. I'm kicking ass from here on out. The haters will hate cause that's what they do. But one thing is for sure. I'm like a damn steel trap. Steady and confident knowing that keeping the course will lead to bigger and better things. All I can say is watch out for the greatest finish in the college football covers forum history.

TJ Yeldon is a beast. He will go down as the best back in Bama history. The guy is as close to Herschel Walker as you will see. Imagine his stats if he got 25 carries a game ?

Knowing the game and betting the game are two COMPLETELY things. Who would debate Mr. Boom doesnt know the game he clearly knows it better then most. I am also a huge student. I could tell you most likely 100 of the 127 1A starting QB's. Boom and I can talk schemes, coverages etc. But betting isnt about who will win they give you a number by how much. It has 0 to do with knowledge. Knowledge sure helps. I do very well wagering and if you look at my last 10 posts I guarantee you see 9 wins. It's about numbers. Take tonight for example who doesnt like the over ? Many will take it although you cant give me one stastical reason it goes over 47. I have 26-21 Saints but you cannot cap turnovers etc.  Boom is one of the best at what he does. Enjoy his knowledge but use his plays along with you rown knowledge and tread carefully

9-0 is 9-0 and it doesn't matter how Notre Dame got there. Everyone gets a few calls along the way in a season.  If the IRISH run the table they should get a look for the BCS if there are only 2 undefeated teams left.

On another subject, people need to get off Boom's back. He is just providing us with insight and is not putting a gun to our head to place a wager. I enjoy reading the forums of Boon, Train, and a few others but the final say on my wagers is MINE.

sup Boom, I've read your thread off-and-on for a year or so but don't post much.  I'm just wondering what you think of this Johnny-football kid?  I'm not saying they're going to win outright, but I can absolutely see Manziel use this week at Bama to show the country what he's made of and get into the heisman discussion.  The kid's a stud and I think he can make things interesting on Saturday.  I've already locked in a small wager on a&m+14.

Boom, great read as always....College football is a big "business" also, and then a sport IMO!!....With that in mind, and Notre Dame having the biggest 'subway alumni' in the country, plus probably one of the heaviest bet teams in Vegas, money would flow out of the doors if they get in a BCS game....Oregon has one of the worst defenses in the country, and Alabama would trash them....That leaves Kansas State....Going back, I think Notre Dame gets beat by USC....ALABAMA would trash them too....BUTTTT, what if the cards fall in place, and ND gets there?.....1......Think it;s possible?.......BIGGGGGGGGGG MONEY!...THAT'S WHAT IT'S ABOUT.....Who in your opinion, plays for it all!!

 

Lol, you're kidding right?  Didn't they "destroy" the number 5 team in the nation?  I know you're a Clemons fan but as a "expert" on the game, you should have more perspective than to constantly bash the SEC.  There's a reason there are 5 SEC teams in the top 8 and 0 ACC teams.  There's also a reason why South Carolina is 8th and Clemons is 13th...

Actually, I would not call this a ballsy play but a very intelligent call! IMO, It is a no-brainer if you think about it. If you go second in the second overtime, you  should always go for 2, because you will start the 3rd OT and will be required to go for two (and be a disadvantage going first). It is much smarter to go for two when you opponent cannot counter with a two point conversion. If you go for two in the first OT....then I would call it ballsy! (And ballsy of course at the end of the regulation as a few coaches have done in the past). Although I as write this I can see an argument for the other side, but I would still always go for two, unless there were some other factors in play like my opponenst defense was really tired and I felt I had an advantage lengthening the game. And there is the other philosophy play to tie at home and play to win on the road.


I do find it ironic though when you call Les Miles an idiot for Fake FGs and Onsides KOs, but another coach takes a risk and he has a pair. Personally, I do think Les Miles is moronic especially when it comes to game mgmt, but I think the onside kick was not a bad call (a bad bounce as it spun back into the kicker), and the worst part of the fake FG was his players either did not have an option to kick the FG or did not recognize that Alabama was playing for the fake FG as they shifted to a base defense. Miles should have called a Timeout as soon as they shifted or the players should have checked out of the fake. (either way this falls on the coach). Again, I do not Les Miles is a good coach, but I do not think the decisions were bad.....had they been successful, people would then be saying "he has a pair", but he was not successful so now he is an idiot... but thems are the breaks and why they get paid the big bucks!
